What was stopping Lunalight from being one of the best Decks in this version of Duel Triangle was the fact that the event banlist had put Lunalight Liger Dancer to Limited. In a regular Duel, you would have been able to summon two of them that are completely unaffected by effects from non-Lunalight cards.
Nevertheless, the event is a great way to test out Lunalights at their full power. This is a great Deck to go either first or second, simply because of how untouchable Liger Dancer is. The other Fusion Monsters are no slouches either, as Lunalight Sabre Dancer and Lunalight Leo Dancer can also end games on their own merit too.

Since the release of the additional support for the Gem-Knight archetype in the Strong Will Selection Pack, the Deck has gotten even stronger to the point that it can go second blindly and still have a chance in winning against the best Decks in the current meta.
In this verison of the Duel Triangle event, they are finally at full strength with the new strategy of summoning Gem-Knight Master Diamond Dispersion. Its effect alone can result iin an OTK win for the Deck due to its ability to summon three Gem-Knight monsters from the Extra Deck for free!

Tearlaments have been put the wringer since their dominant arrival in Master Duel, getting hit with multiple banlists for each of their cards. It only gets worse with the event-exclusive Banlsit hitting their main starter Tearlaments Reinoheart at 1.
To make up for the Extra Deck's lack of flexibility because of the banlist restrictions per faction, Tearlaments needed support from the Shaddoll and Fiendsmith engines to provide card advantage alongside their Fusion Summons.

Ancient Gears were also part of our Best Fusion Decks during the first version of the Duel Triangle Event where Fusions Monsters are part of the warring factions.
The Deck has remained mostly unchanged since then, and the core strength revolving around Ancient Gear Dark Golem and the archetype's Fusion Monsters are still as powerful as ever. Once this Deck hits the Battle Phase, consider the Duel over already.

HERO as an archetype has remained untouched for the longest time, with the most recent change being the unbanning of Destiny HERO - Celestial due to the massive powercreep from the other archetypes arriving to the game.
Still, a HERO Deck will snowball uncontrollably once they get to do their standard Fusion Summon combos properly. Once they make it to Elemental HERO Sunrise searching Miracle Fusion, there is no stopping this Deck--even with the lack of the Xtra HERO Link Monsters.
