| Babycerasaurus | |
|---|---|
|
|
For most Dinosaur decks, Babycerasaurus comes as a trifecta of staples that accompany Miscellaneousaurus and Souleating Oviraptor. Destroying it Special Summons a Level 4 or lower monster straight from the Deck. The best part is that this has no once-per-turn clause! |
| Ground Xeno | |
|
|
Ground Xeno can search out a Dinosaur Tuner from the Deck, and destroy a card from the hand. This searcher usually comes as a package with the Xeno and Transcendosaurus cards, like Xeno Meteorus and Transcendosaurus Meteorus. They can fit into the Deck, but then you would have to consider running Normal Dinosaur monsters. |
| Transcendosaurus Glaciasaurus | |
|
|
If you run Ground Xeno and the Transcendosaurus cards, Transcendosaurus Glaciasaurus now becomes an option for a boss monster. While on the field, it cannot be destroyed by battle, and Dinosaur monsters Special Summoned from the GY are now immune to card destruction and targeted card effects. |
| Dinovatus Docus | |
|
|
If you have two or more Dinosaur monsters on your field, you can Special Summon Dinovatus Docus straight from the hand. This is an easy way to get a Level 4 on the field to begin Synchro Climbing once you have the two copies of Jurrac Megalo and Jurrac Aeolo on the field. |
| Steamed Sabersaurus | |
|
|
One the last few options for Xyz Monsters for Dinosaurs, Steamed Sabersaurus can forcefully change the battle position of one monster on the field by destroying a Dinosaur from your hand or field. Jurrac can take advantage of that, as well as its effect in the Damage Step by destroying itself to give another Dinosaur monster a 2000 ATK boost. |

Jurrac has been around for a while in Yu-Gi-Oh! since the introduction of the Synchro Summon mechanic, and was already in the game when Master Duel first launched in 2022. Over three years later, the archetype's newer cards from the TCG and OCG have finally made its way into the game, and it is distinctively different compared to the older Jurrac cards.
This Deck uses mostly the newer Jurrac cards that came out in the Detonate to the Top Speed Selection Pack. The only exception from the older cards is Jurrac Meteor, which can be cheated out thanks to one of the newer Synchro Monsters of the archetype, Jurrac Astero.

There are three new monsters in the Main Deck for Jurrac, and two of them are Level 1 monsters. These two are the combo starters and extenders, depending on how things start out.
Jurrac Aeolo's effect of tributing itself to Special Summon a Level 4 or lower Jurrac monster has no once-per-turn clause, so it can be used repeatedly so long as a copy of Aeolo is on the field. This synergizes well with Jurrac Megalo, who can Special Summon itself from the hand if you control a Dinosaur monster. It also has a Hand Destruction effect to draw cards, and has a Foolish Burial effect when destroyed by battle or card effect.
Jurrac Megalo is the Level 4 monster that ties it all together. Its effect is essentially a way to trigger Jurrac cards that need to be destoyed, another Foolish Burial effect, and a mass Special Summon effect depending on the total Level of monsters; all in one effect.
The archetype's new Field Spell, Jurrac Volcano, serves three purposes. The first is a a direct Special Summon from the Deck, and the second is protection for your Jurrac monsters from card destruction effects by banishing a Dinosaur monster from the GY.
The most important effect is its field-destroying effect, where it cheats out a Jurrac Meteor in a “Synchro Summon”. It needs specific conditions for it to happen, but it is quite easy to do in the current meta.

As Jurrac are all Dinosaur-type monsters, classic Dinosaur staples are bound to appear. Miscellaneousaurus can be sent from hand to GY to make all the Dinosaurs you control immune to activated card effects from the rest of the turn. Then, by banishing a Dinosaur monster including itself, it can potentially Special Summon more monsters from the hand or Deck.
On summon, Souleating Oviraptor can be a searcher of a Foolish Burial. Then, it can destroy a Level 4 or lower Dinosaur (including itself) to bring back a mosnter with the same level conditions.

Ultimate Conductor Tyranno is another classic staple in Dinosaur-centric decks, most often as an alternative boss monster. Its effect can turn off face-up monsters' effects by flipping them face-down. Then, through its own effect, they can be battled, be sent to the GY, and its owner will receive significant burn damage.
Late game, Tyranno Infinity can be quite a scary monster as its ATK is based on the number of your banished Dinosaurs. It is rather easy to get to 8 or more banished Dinosaurs given the activation effects of some of the cards here.

Jurrac Astero is the new boss monster that significantly changes how Jurrac now plays. On summon, this card lets you Set a Jurrac Spell/Trap, which ideally should always be Jurrac Impact. It also has a soft once-per-turn on its Special Summon negation effect.
However, the most imporatnt effect to remember is its ability to Special Summon Jurrac Meteor from the Extra Deck. It is treated as a Synchro Summon, meaning Meteory can trigger its effect to destroy everything on the field.
As part of the set-up and follow-up, Horned Brute Carnovorous can take advantage of the secondary part of Meteors effect to Special Summon a Tuner from the GY. It can conduct a Synchro Summon in either player's Main Phase or Battle Phase, and can Special Summon a Dinosaur monster from the hand when a monster attacks, completely ignoring Summoning conditions.

As for additonal Extra Deck options, if you can manage to have a couple of Level 4s like Oviraptor and Stego, use them to Xyz Summon into Evolzar Dolkka or Evolzar Laggia.
Dolkka deals with monster effects and negates them, while Laggia can deal with Summons or Spell/Trap Card effects.

As the Jurrac monsters are all FIRE, some end boards in the Extra Deck have to match them. Cards like Hiita the Fire Charmer Ablaze, Promethean Princess and Salamangreat Raging Phoenix will be of good use to extend combos.
Particularly, Hiita is great if the opponent uses an Ash Blossom against you in one of your searches.

As a Jurrac player, you want to make sure that your combos will let you do a board wipe at least twice. Only one on the field can be negated if the opponent has the right cards, so have a couple of threats at the ready alongside the looming threat of a Jurrac Meteor effect.
| Cards Needed on Hand | |
|---|---|
| + 1 Dinosaur monster to Normal Summon | |
| Step | Description |
| 1 | Activate Jurrac Volcano as your Field Spell. Then, Normal Summon a Dinosaur monster to your side of the field. Here, use the effect of Jurrac Volcano; destroy the monster you just summoned, then Special Summon Jurrac Stego on the field. |
| 2 | Activate the effect of Jurrac Stego; destroy Jurrac Volcano from the Field Spell Zone, send a copy of Miscellaneosaurus from the Deck to the GY, then Special Summon two copies each of Jurrac Aeolo and Jurrac Megalo on the field. |
| 3 | Using Jurrac Stego and one of the Level 1 Tuners you summoned from its own effect, Synchro Summon Jurrac Velphito. Then, using another Level 1 Tuner and Velphito as materials, Synchro Sumon Horned Brute Carnovorus. Ideally, have one copy each of Aeolo and Megalo remain on the field. You'll need it for the following steps. |
| 4 | Use the effect of Jurrac Aeolo; send itself from the field to the GY, then target Jurrac Stego to Special Summon back onto the field. Then, with Jurrac Stego and Horned Brute Carnovorus as materials, Synchro Summon Jurrac Astero. On summon, Astero's effect triggers; set Jurrac Impact from the Deck. |
| 5 | Activate the Miscellaneosaurus in your GY; banish itself and three more Dinosaur monsters from the GY to Special Summon Souleating Oviraptor from the Deck. Note: Do not banish Horned Brute Carnovorus in this step. |
| 6 | On summon of Souleating Oviraptor, add Ultimate Conductor Tyranno from the Deck to hand. Then, use Oviraptor's second effect; destroy the Jurrac Megalo remaining on your field, then Special Summon Horned Brute Carnovorus back onto the field. |
| 7 | Trigger Jurrac Megalo's effect after being destroyed by card effect in the previous step; send a second copy of Jurrac Astero from the Extra Deck to the GY. |
| 8 | Using Souleating Oviraptor and Horned Brute Carnovorus as materials, Synchro Summon the third and final Jurrac Astero. Trigger its effect on summon to set Jurrac Volcano. Then, activate the Field Spell. |

This combo can work if you happen to slot in Babycerasaurus in the Deck recipe. Though not part of the main Deck list, the card is also as much of a staple as Miscellaneousaurus and Souleating Oviraptor are in other Dinosaur decks!
| Cards Needed on Hand | |
|---|---|
| Step | Description |
| 1 | Normal Summon Jurrac Stego. Then, use its effect to destroy itself and send a copy of Miscellaneousaurus from the Deck to the GY, to Special Summon two copies each of Jurrac Aeolo and Jurrac Megalo on the field. |
| 2 | Use the effect of Jurrac Aeolo; send itself from the field to the GY, then target Jurrac Stego to Special Summon back onto the field. Afterwards, using Stego and one of the Jurrac Megalo on the field, Synchro Summon Jurrac Velphito. |
| 3 | Using Jurrac Velphito and the other Jurrac Megalo on the field, Synchro Summon Horned Brute Carnovorus. Afterwards, use the effect of the remaining Jurrac Aeolo on the field; send itself to the GY, target Stego from the GY and Special Summon it to the field. |
| 4 | Using Jurrac Stego and Horned Brute Carnovorus as materials, Synchro Summon Jurrac Astero. On summon, Astero's effect triggers; set Jurrac Volcano from the Deck. Activate it immediately afterwards. |
| 5 | Trigger the effect of Miscellaneousaurus in the GY; banish itself and one other Dinosaur from your GY to Special Summon Babycerasaurus from the Deck. Note: [red]Do not banish Horned Brute Carnovorus in this step. |
| 6 | Trigger the effect of Jurrac Volcano; destroy Babycerasaurus from the field to Special Summon another copy of Jurrac Stego from the Deck. This triggers Babycerasaurus's effect; Special Summon Souleating Oviraptor from the Deck. |
| 7 | Activate Souleating Oviraptor's effect on summon; add Ultimate Conductor Tyranno to the hand. Then, use its second effect; destroy Jurrac Stego as cost, then Special Summon Horned Brute Carnovorus from the GY. From here, use Stego and Carnovorus as materials to Synchro Summon a second copy of Jurrac Astero. |
| 8 | Trigger the second copy of Jurrac Astero on summon; Set Jurrac Impact from the Deck. |

Ryzeal has a play through most hand traps, and has a lot of interruptions on hand as well due to how little space the actual archetype takes space in a Deck List. However, once it manages to set up Ryzeal Detonator and Ryzeal Cross, it can be a bit of a problem to properly set up place.
Detonator in particular has a card destruction Quick Effect that can be used so long as it has materials on it. If you go first against this Deck, you have board wipes that can deny chances for the opponent to summon Detonator. If you go second, pray you have something that can remove it before you can play the game.

Maliss is the second of two Decks with Ryzeal that make up probably the best Deck in the meta as of writing. This Deck is great against Jurrac whether first or second, as the Maliss monsters have to be banished to truly tap to full potential.
In particular, Maliss〈Q〉White Binder will banish 3 cards from either player's GY when it's Special Summoned; it can very well target the Jurrac player's GY to deny them cards like Ultimate Conductor Tyranno or Jurrac Astero from activating their effects.
Maliss Deck Guide and Card List

Yubel is an interesting match-up against Jurrac, as it can take advantage of Jurrac's field-wiping effects from Jurrac Meteor and Jurrac Impact, and have them replaced with a stronger version of Yubel. Some versions only have up to Terror Incarnate, while others opt include The Ultimate Nightmare just in case.
The real danger of this Deck involve two cards: Phantom of Yubel, which effectively changes the effect of a monster when activated; and Nightmare Pain, which not only forces the opponent into the Battle Phase, but also redirect all attacks to only Yubel monsters.

All it takes is one bad day. The Anti-Meta Stun Deck slows down the Duel into a grind, denying the opponent as much as possible through flood gates, card destructions interruptions.
Key cards include Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo which stops all Special Summons, Clockwork Night which changes all monsters on the field to Machine-type, and the Morganite cards which provide extremely powerful effects at the cost of no longer using monster effects from the hand.
