Playstyle and Win Condition

With the past few updates to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel Banlist, people may think that the Tri-Brigade has lost its luster, having cards like Tri-Brigade Fraktall and Fire Formation - Tenki being added to Semi-Limited, which affected the Tri-Brigade Archetype's consistency.

But, with the introduction of Tri-Brigade Mercourier in the game, it is now viable to combine both Branded and Tri-Brigade Archetypes to create a once-again consistent and reliable Tri-Brigade Deck, being able to quickly summon out big Boss Monsters and begin taking control of the Duel early on in the match.

Required Cards
Step	Description
①	Normal Summon Rescue Cat → Activate Rescue Cat's Effect → Search for Tri-Brigade Kerass and Tri-Brigade Kitt from the Deck and Special Summon them onto the Field.
②	Link Summon Tri-Brigade Ferrijit the Barren Blossom using both the Tri-Brigade Kerass and Tri-Brigade Kitt on the Field.
③	Activate Tri-Brigade Kitt's GY Effect → Search for Tri-Brigade Nervall from the Deck and send it to the GY. → Tri-Brigade Nervall's GY Effect triggers → Search for Tri-Brigade Fraktall from the Deck and send it to the Hand.
④	Activate Tri-Brigade Ferrijit the Barren Blossom's Effect → Special Summon Tri-Brigade Fraktall from the Hand.
⑤	Activate Tri-Brigade Fraktall's 2nd Effect → Banish four cards from your GY: Tri-Brigade Nervall, Tri-Brigade Kitt, Tri-Brigade Kerass, & Rescue Cat. → Special Summon Tri-Brigade Shuraig the Ominous Omen from the Extra Deck onto the Field.
⑥	Link Summon Tri-Brigade Bearbrumm the Rampant Rampager using both the Tri-Brigade Fraktall and Tri-Brigade Shuraig the Ominous Omen on the field.
⑦	Activate Tri-Brigade Shuraig the Ominous Omen's GY Effect → Search for Tri-Brigade Mercourier from the Deck and send it to the Hand.
⑧	Activate Tri-Brigade Bearbrumm the Rampant Rampager's Effect → Discard Tri-Brigade Mercourier as well as 1 other random card in your hand → Target the banished Tri-Brigade Kitt and Special Summon it onto the Field.
⑨	Activate Tri-Brigade Kitt's Effect → Banish both the Tri-Brigade Mercourier and Tri-Brigade Fraktall from the GY. [red]Note:[red] It is crucial to banish your Tri-Brigade Mercourier at this stage. → Special Summon Ancient Warriors Oath - Double Dragon Lords from the Extra Deck onto the Field.
⑩	Tri-Brigade Mercourier's Effect will trigger from the Banish Pile → Activate it → Search for Albion the Shrouded Dragon from the Deck and send it to the Hand.
⑪	Activate Albion the Shrouded Dragon's Effect from the Hand → Search for Branded Sword from the Deck and send it to the GY. → This triggers Branded Sword's GY Effect → Banish Branded Sword to send Tri-Brigade Mercourier from the Banish Pile back to the Hand. → Once resolved, Albion the Shrouded Dragon is sent to the bottom of the Deck, while drawing an extra card.
⑫	Link Summon Predaplant Verte Anaconda using both the Tri-Brigade Kitt and Tri-Brigade Ferrijit the Barren Blossom on the Field.
⑬	Activate Tri-Brigade Ferrijit the Barren Blossom's GY Effect to Draw a card while sending an unwanted card back to the bottom of the Deck.
⑭	Activate your Predaplant Verte Anaconda's Effect → Pay 2000LP and Target a Branded Fusion in your Deck to send to the GY & copy its Effect → Fusion Summon Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon by sending both your Fallen of Albaz in the Deck, and Tri-Brigade Bearbrumm the Rampant Rampager on the Field to the GY.
⑮	Activate Tri-Brigade Bearbrumm the Rampant Rampager's GY Effect → Search for Tri-Brigade Revolt from the Deck and send it to the Hand, while sending an unwanted card from your Hand to the bottom of the Deck.
⑯	Set your Tri-Brigade Revolt and End your turn.

①	Activate Tri-Brigade Fraktall's Effect from the Hand → Discard itself and Search for Tri-Brigade Nervall from the Deck and send it to the GY as well.
②	Activate Tri-Brigade Nervall's GY Effect → Search for Tri-Brigade Mercourier from the Deck and send it to the Hand.
③	Normal Summon Tri-Brigade Kitt onto the Field → Activate Tri-Brigade Kitt's Effect → Banish 2 Cards from your GY: Tri-Brigade Fraktall and Tri-Brigade Nervall → Special Summon Tri-Brigade Ferrijit the Barren Blossom from the Extra Deck onto the Field.
④	Activate Tri-Brigade Ferrijit the Barren Blossom's Effect → Special Summon Tri-Brigade Mercourier onto the Field.
⑤	Link Summon Tri-Brigade Bearbrumm the Rampant Rampager using both the Tri-Brigade Kitt and Tri-Brigade Mercourier on the Field. → Activate Tri-Brigade Bearbrumm the Rampant Rampager's Effect and Discard 2 unwanted cards → Target the Tri-Brigade Fraktall in your Banish Pile and Special Summon it onto the Field.
⑥	Activate Tri-Brigade Fraktall's Effect and Banish 2 Cards: Tri-Brigade Mercourier and Tri-Brigade Kitt from the GY → Special Summon Ancient Warriors Oath - Double Dragon Lords from the Extra Deck onto the Field.
⑦	Tri-Brigade Mercourier's Effect will trigger from the Banish Pile → Activate it → Search for Albion the Shrouded Dragon from the Deck and send it to the Hand.
⑧	Activate Albion the Shrouded Dragon's Effect from the Hand → Search for Branded Sword from the Deck and send it to the GY. → This triggers Branded Sword's GY Effect → Banish Branded Sword to send Tri-Brigade Mercourier from the Banish Pile back to the Hand. → Once resolved, Albion the Shrouded Dragon is sent to the bottom of the Deck, while drawing an extra card.
⑨	Link Summon Predaplant Verte Anaconda using both the Tri-Brigade Fraktall and Tri-Brigade Ferrijit the Barren Blossom on the Field.
⑩	Activate Tri-Brigade Ferrijit the Barren Blossom's GY Effect to Draw a card while sending an unwanted card back to the bottom of the Deck.
⑪	Activate your Predaplant Verte Anaconda's Effect → Pay 2000LP and Target a Branded Fusion in your Deck to send to the GY & copy its Effect → Fusion Summon Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon by sending both your Fallen of Albaz in the Deck, and Tri-Brigade Bearbrumm the Rampant Rampager on the Field to the GY.
⑫	Activate Tri-Brigade Bearbrumm the Rampant Rampager's GY Effect → Search for Tri-Brigade Revolt from the Deck and send it to the Hand, while sending an unwanted card from your Hand to the bottom of the Deck.
⑬	Set your Tri-Brigade Revolt and End your turn.

These combos leaves you with a Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon, Ancient Warriors Oath - Double Dragon Lords, and Tri-Brigade Revolt on the Field, while having a Tri-Brigade Mercourier in the Hand.

This end board provides you with 1 Banish via Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon which also provides protection by destroying all your opponent's monsters if/when this monster leaves the field. A bounce via the Ancient Warriors Oath - Double Dragon Lords, a Trap Card that Special Summons any number of Beast, Beast-Warrior, and/or Winged Beast monsters that are either Banished or in your GY, and the chance to Link Summon a Tri-Brigade Monster using the Special Summoned Monsters with its Effect.

And, with Tri-Brigade Mercourier in the Hand while Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon is on the Field, you can negate the activation of any of your opponent's Monster Effect by discarding it from your hand.

Best Cards to Tech Against Branded Tri-Brigade

	Contact "C"
	Contact "C" pretty much locks your opponent's Branded Tri-Brigade Deck by keeping their Extra Deck Summons at bay, unless they use it as Material. Given the way this deck Special Summons a lot, Contact "C" can be a viable deterent.
	PSY-Framegear Gamma
	A hand trap that can be used to negate the effects of your opponent's Branded Tri-Brigade especially when used against cards like Test Panter, Tri-Brigade Ferrijit the Barren Blossom or other similar cards, destroying them in the process.
	Prohibition
	Using Prohibition and naming cards like Branded Fusion, Tri-Brigade Mercourier, etc. will pretty much lock your opponent's Branded Tri-Brigade Deck from being able to perform as it should. Just make sure to use it as soon as you know that your opponent is using a Branded Tri-Brigade Deck before they can bring out any of these cards.
	Effect Veiler
	Another hand trap like PSY-Framegear Gamma that can be used against cards like Tri-Brigade Fraktall, Tri-Brigade Ferrijit the Barren Blossom or other similar cards.
	Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring
	This card can be quickly used to cancel specific effects that are at the core of Branded Tri-Brigade decks by discarding this card.

Limit Summons & Negate

This Branded Tri-Brigade Deck relies on searches and chaining summons to use for their Etra Deck Summons to create a strong board early in the game.

Using a combination of spells and traps to interrupt your opponent will quickly put the duel in your favor.
