Playstyle and Win Condition

The Hungry Burger Nouvelles Deck debut with the Singularity Warrior pack is nothing more than spicy! Nouvelles is an archetype centered around Ritual Monsters that Tribute the opponent's Monsters, using them as ingredients materials to Special Summon their Ritual Monsters.

The Deck is known for its ability to punish the opponent by targeting your Monsters and having numerous interruptions. This Deck also brings out Hungry Burger which can Tribute the whole board!

For this iteration of Nouvelles, the Main Deck sports 5 different Main Deck Ritual Monsters. All of them have similar conditions for their devastating effects, where they need to be Targeted and Special Summoned by a Nouvelle Monster's Effect.

Naturally, they can Ritual Climb off of each other through these effects while providing card advantage with numerous interruptions by Tributing the opponent's monsters, which is the main win condition of the deck.

Poissonniere de Nouvelles is the main engine of the Deck, capable of both starting and extending their combos by grabbing their Ritual Spells when she is Special Summoned. She can be placed on the Pendulum Zone to activate her effect.

If there is a Ritual Monster on the Field, she can target the Ritual Monster and Special Summon herself on the field. Since her effect targets Monsters, it enables the Nouvelle Ritual Monsters If Targeted Effects and "Ritual Climb".

Hosting the tremendous effect of giving the opponent real-life hunger, the pièce de résistance of the Deck, Hungry Burger!

All jokes aside, Hungry Burger enables the Counter Trap of Nouvelles in the Graveyard to Tribute the opponent's side of the field if it is Special Summoned.

Of course, the Impcantation Deck Engine is a must-have for any Ritual Deck for its ability to search and be used as Ritual components reliably. However, keep in mind that if they are active in the Field, you are locked out from your Extra Deck.

Impcantation Talismandra is a way to search out your Ritual Monsters from the Deck if it was Special Summoned from the Deck. Impcantation Talismandra is only kept at one copy since you do not want to draw Talismandra for Chalislime or Penciplume's Effect.

Impcantation Candoll is simply Talismandra's counterpart, being able to search out a Ritual Spell from the Deck if it was Special Summoned from the Deck. Impcantation Canddoll is only kept at one copy since you do not want to draw Candoll for Chalislime or Penciplume's Effect.

Impcantation Penciplume is an essential extender for Nouvelles since you have 12 Ritual Monsters in the Main Deck and have many searches for them. Penciplume can reveal a Ritual Monster from hand to Special Summon itself and an Impcantation Monster from the Deck.

Impcantation Chalislime is the most reliable way to search for the specific Ritual Material you need as it can Special Summon either Candoll or Talismandra straight from the Deck to activate their searching effects by discarding any card from your Hand.

These 2 Fairy Type Monsters are included for extending combos and recycling your Ritual Materials.

Diviner of the Herald has three purposes depending on the Extra Deck Fairy you put in the Graveyard:

1. If you put Herald of the Arc Light in the Graveyard, you can search any Ritual Spell or Monster and add it to your hand.
2. If you put Elder Entity N'tss in the Graveyard, you can target and destroy one card on the Field, possibly activating your Nouvelles' Target Effects.
3. With an extended combo, it is used as a Tuner for Synchro Summoning Herald of the Arc Light.

Cyber Egg Angel is simply added so that we can search Ritual Sanctuary from the Deck.

Hungry Burger Nouvelles is a Ritual-based Archetype, and as such, they have their exclusive Ritual Spells to Special Summon their Ritual Monsters.

Both Recete de Poisson (Fish Recipe) and Recette de Viande (Meat Recipe) are Ritual Spells used to Ritual Summon any Nouvelles Monster. However, they both are searchable through Pre-Preparation of Rites as they both indicate specific names.

Impcantation Inception is another means of Ritual Summoning our Nouvelle Ritual Monsters but it has the caveat of only being able to be used if Impcantation Monsters are used as materials for the Summon.

Impcantation Inception is included here as a combo extender since you can also Banish this card from the Graveyard to Special Summon either Impcantation Candoll or Talismandra from the Deck, searching another Ritual component.

Voici la Carte (Today's Menu) searches both the Ritual Spell and Monster you need. Reveal 2 unique Nouvelle Ritual Monsters of your choice to your opponent, and depending on the Type chosen by the opponent to add to your hand, add either Fish Recipe or Meat Recipe.

Concours de Cuisine (Culinary Confrontation) Special Summons a Nouvelles Monster on both sides of the Field. The Card also has an effect from the Graveyard that lets you target a Face-up Monster on the field.

The card enables Ritual Climbing since you can Target your cards while having Tribute Materials on both Fields. To add insult to injury, your opponent cannot use Infinite Impermanence since they now have a card on their field.

Nouvelles Restaurant "At Table " acts as both a searcher for Ritual Spells and a means of recycling Ritual Materials. These are done by sending your Ritual Cards from the Graveyard and Hand back to your Deck to draw 1.

As standard includes for most Ritual-based Decks, Pre-Preparation of Rites and Preparation of Rites are included to increase consistency and possibly add another Ritual Monster on the Field as Preparation of Rites recycles Ritual Spells from the Graveyard.

Traps

Chef's Secret Recipe is considered an omni-negate, where if an opponent activates any effect while any Nouvelles Ritual Monster is on the field, negate the activation.

Further adding to the spice, when this Trap Card is in the Graveyard and Hungry Burger is Special Summoned to the Field, you can banish this card to Tribute all Monsters on your opponent's side of the field.

Infinite Impermanence is this Deck's only handtrap, and for good reason. Hungry Burger Nouvelles can combo through interruptions, so other hand traps are not necessary as you need consistency. You can negate the effects of any face-up Monster your opponent controls.

One thing to note is that if your opponent tries to use this Trap against your Nouvelle Ritual Monsters, you can react with your Tribute Effects.

Extra Deck Monsters

Hungry Burger Nouvelles only has one unique Extra Deck Monster for its archetype, that being Patissciel Couverture. Other than that, the Deck utilizes Link Summons that have targeting effects to support the Deck's Ritual Monsters.

Patissciel Couverture is primarily used in conjunction with Culinary Confrontation to Special Summon her on the opponent's side of the field. This has two implications:

1. She can be Tributed as Material for our Nouvelle Ritual Materials.
2. She blocks the opponent from using Infinite Impermanence.

These 2 Extra Deck inclusions are sent to the Graveyard by Diviner of the Herald for their Graveyard Effects.

Elder Entity N'tss, when sent to the Graveyard, you can target a card on the Field. You can use this to extend your combos by targeting your Ritual Monsters.

Herald of the Arc Light, when sent to the Graveyard, you can search for any Ritual Material. During extended combos, you can Synchro Summon this Card by using Diviner of the Herald as the Tuner!

Dyna Mondo is utilized as both a form of interruption and extender. He is especially strong when you are going second.

As interruption, he can Shuffle an opponent's card on the field. As an extender, he can target your cards to activate their effects and send a Ritual Monster from Graveyard back to your hand or Special Summon it.

Since this Deck can Special Summon several Monsters on the Field, running the Knightmare Engine as situational Link cards are given. When they are Link summoned each Monster has a different effect that interferes with the opponent when they discard a card from Hand.:

• Knightmare Cerberus: Target 1 and Destroy a Special Summoned Monster.
• Knightmare Phoenix: Target 1 and Destroy a Spell or Trap Card.
• Knightmare Unicorn: Target 1 and Shuffle a Card on the Field back to the Deck.

These are the situational Link Summons. They will rarely come out, but it is good to have them for certain moments nonetheless.

• Underworld Goddess of the Closed World: Used when you have Monsters to spare on Turn 3 and need an uninterruptible remove.
• Trackblack: Used when your combo is interrupted as this can target a card that it points to.
• Apollousa, Bow of the Goddess: Used as a possible entry during extended combos for 3-4 omni-negates.
• I:P Masquerena: Can either summon Dyna Mondo or any of the Knightmare Monsters

	Dyna Mondo is a strong addition to any Ritual-based Decks, acting as a pseudo Knightmare Unicorn when Special Summoned. Not only that, Dyna Mondo enables more combos for Nouvelles as he can target the Nouvelles Ritual Monsters to activate their effects.
	Apollousa, Bow of the Goddess
	Since Nouvelles can flood the board with Monsters, Apollousa, Bow of the Goddess can be used to clear the field while providing 3-4 negates. This can provide multiple layers of protection to your cards and their effect activations.
	Underworld Goddess of the Closed World
	Underworld Goddess of the Closed World is used mostly as an out to Monster Floodgates as she can potentially use a monster the opponent controls as part of its summoning materials. She holds another effect that specifically counter Special Summons as Underworld Goddess of the Closed World negates them as a Quick Effect.

	Nouvelles, as a Ritual Deck, need numerous materials to get going. Droll & Lock Bird, if its effect resolves, stops Nouvelle by not letting them add any cards from their Main Deck.
	Raigeki
	Raigeki counters Nouvelles because it is non-targeted destruction, Nouvelles Monster Effects can only work if they are targeted. To add insult to injury, Nouvelles do not have any Graveyard effects.
	Evenly Matched
	Evenly Matched is another form of non-targeted removal, which Nouvelles despise. It is safe and lets most Decks set-up. However, Nouvelles generate card advantage and recycle efficiently so they can still possibly win.
