Nemleria Cards

Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel - Dreaming Nemleria

The playstyle of a Nemleria Deck is rather unique, as while it has access to an Extra Deck, it revolves around using it as resource for some of the Main Deck Monsters instead.

More specifically, it needs to have Dreaming Nemleria on the top of the Extra Deck face-up for the Deck to go fully online--and it gets even stronger if it somehow becomes the only card in the Extra Deck Zone. In essence, the Extra Deck is Dreaming Nemleria's bed.

Nemleria Dream Devourer - Reveil Nemleria Dream Defender - Oreiller Nemleria Dream Defender - Couette Dreaming Reality of Nemleria, Realized

The Deck is all about trying to get that Pendulum Monster on top of the Extra Deck face-up, and taking advantage of it while it is there. For example, Dream Defender - Oreiller can Special Summon itself from the hand once per turn if a Pendulum Monster is on the Extra Deck face-up, and banishes cards from there face-down for an ATK boost.

Try to summon Dreaming Reality of Nemleria, Realized first among these cards, as its ATK boost is based on how many face-down cards you have in the Extra Deck. By returning a monster from the field to the Deck, it can Special Summon itself and essentialy send Dreaming Nemleria straight to the Extra Deck face-up.

Nemleria Dream Defender - Couette can also Special Summon itself the same way, and provides a negate by banishing a card from the Extra Deck. Meanwhile, Nemleria Dream Devourer - Reveil can be Special Summoned by banshing Extra Deck cards face-down, and its effects allows it to set a "Nemleria" Trap straight from the Deck.

Eater of Millions Gren Maju Da Eiza Dimension Shifter

Leaning into the theme of banishing cards, run cards that enable said playstyle. Dimension Shifter forces all cards sent to the GY to be banished instead for two turns, and is a great counter against Decks that like to send cards there.

Eater of Millions and Gren Maju da Eiza get stronger with each card being banished, and the former of the two can even automatically banish the monster it targets for an attack!

Kashtira Engine

Kashtira Fenrir Kashtira Unicorn Kashtira Ogre Kashtira Birth Kashtira Preparations

Players may as well run the Kashtira Engine to help out with banishing cards. Each of these cards punish the opponent depending on their actions, and the monsters can Special Summon themselves for free if the field is currently empty.

Kashtira Unicorn banish cards from the opponent's Extra Deck, Kashtira Ogre banish one card from the top few cards from their Main Deck, and Kashtira Fenrir banishes a face-up card from the field.

Kashtira Birth and Kashtira Preparations can help Special Summon the "Kashtira" monsters, and can banish even more cards if they decide to activate a Spell or Trap Card respectfully while these cards are active.

Spells and Traps

Sweet Dreams, Nemleria Dream Tower of Princess Nemleria

At 3 copies is Sweet Dreams, Nemleria, which is a crucial searcher for "Nemleria" monsters. If Dreaming Nemleria is face-up on the Extra Deck, the opponent is also locked out of using cards or effects once a "Nemleria" monster is Normal or Special Summoned after this effect resolves. When this card is in the GY, this card can place a Dreaming Nemleria you control on the field onto the Extra Deck.

Supporting it is Dream Tower of Princess Nemleria, which is another searcher that helps remove the face-down cards from the Extra Deck as cost. Though, using this search effect locks the user out of Extra Deck summons for the rest of the turn, so be careful.

Triple Tactics Talent Called by the Grave Pot of Desires

The rest of the Spell Cards are pretty straightforward. Triple Tactics Talent punishes monster effects the monster uses during your Main Phase, Called by the Grave banishes and negates hand traps as they are activated.

Pot of Desires makes you banish the top 10 cards from your Main Deck in order to draw 2, but think of it as making Eater of Billions and Gren Maju da Eiza much stronger.

Nemleria Louve Nemleria Repeter

There are only two Trap Cards in the archetype, and one copy each is enough since they can be searched out. Nemleria Louve can Special Summon "Nemleria" monsters from the Deck for one turn before they are sent to the GY. It also can banish itself from the GY to drop the stats of a targeted monster.

Nemleria Repeter is a Continuous Trap card, so having it face up on the field is crucial. Depending on the number of Extra Deck cards you banish face-down, it can either be a searcher, a damage reduction effect, or a pseudo-Dark Ruler No More.

Core Combos and Interactions

Kashtira and Nemleria Full Combo

If you manage to get both a Kashtira Unicorn and a Dream Tower of Princess Nemleria on the hand at the start of the turn, you can go absolutely crazy with your first turn.

Sample Hand
Pot of Desires Kashtira Unicorn Dream Tower of Princess Nemleria Nemleria Dream Devourer - Reveil Dreaming Reality of Nemleria, Realized
Step Description
1 As you control no monsters on the field at the moment, you can Special Summon Kashtira Unicorn for free from the hand.
Then activate its effect to search out Kashtira Birth to the hand, and activate it as soon as you add it.
2 Activate Dream Tower of Princess Nemleria from the hand, and use its effect immediately; banish two cards from the Extra Deck face-down, then add Nemleria Dream Devourer - Reveil and Nemleria Dream Devourer - Oreiller from the Deck to the hand.
3 Activate Nemleria Dream Devourer - Reveil from the hand; banish 3 cards from the Extra Deck face-down, and Special Summon itself from the hand.
4 Activate Nemleria Dream Devourer - Reveil's second effect while on the Field; discard 1 card from the hand (preferrably your other copy of Nemleria Dream Devourer - Reveil), and Set Nemleria Repeter straight from the Deck.
5 Activate Dreaming Reality of Nemleria, Realized's effect from the hand; send back Kashtira Unicorn from the field to the bottom of the Deck, then Special Summon itself from the hand.
Then, activate its second effect upon being Special Summoned; place a copy of Dreaming Nemlaria from the Main Deck to the top of the Extra Deck face-up.
6 Now that you have a Pendulum Monster face-up at the top of the Extra Deck in Dreaming Nemleria, you can now Special Summon Nemleria Dream Devourer - Oreiller.
7 Activate Pot of Desires; banish the top 10 cards of your Main Deck face-down, then draw 2 cards.

Boss Monsters

Eater of Millions
Eater of Millions Eater of Millions gets stronger with each banished card from either player, and Nemleria allows it due to its playstyle of having cards banished in order to play cards. Each time it attacks, it also banishes a card via its effect, and it's face-down making it useless for the opponent.
Gren Maju da Eiza
Gren Maju Da Eiza Much like Eater of Millions, Gren Maju da Eiza gets stronger with each banished card from both players. With enough cards banished, this card can easily go for an OTK attempt once it reaches a high-enough ATK.
Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Juggernaut Liebe
Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Juggernaut Liebe Played alongside Gustav Max, Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Juggernaut Liebe is a package combo that can also be an OTK combo of its own. Combined with Gustav Max's burn damage, using Juggernaut Liebe's effect boosts its ATK to 6000, making it extremely hard to defeat in battle.
Dreaming Reality of Nemleria, Realized
Dreaming Reality of Nemleria, Realized Dreaming Reality of Nemleria, Realized gets stronger with each card that is face-down currently in the Extra Deck. This also provides a search effect to get Dreaming Nemleria or shift a face-up monster on the field to face-down Defense Position.

Nemleria Counters: How to Beat

Best Decks to Use Against Nemleria

Labrynth

Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel - Labrynth

A Labrynth Deck's collection of interruptions and Trap Card recursion makes it one of the best Decks to run in Master Duel as of writing. It doesn't matter if it goes first or second; the moment it activates key Trap Cards like Big Welcome Labrynth, stopping them will be very hard to do.
Labrynth Deck List & Card Guide

Vanquish Soul

Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel - Master Duel - Vanquish Soul
Vanquish Soul is a very pesky Deck to deal with, with their ability to tag out monsters between the hand and field to their advantage. Before you know it, they can either deal burn damage, have a powerful boss monster like Vanquish Soul Caesar Valius out on the field, or destroy cards from the field at their voilition.
Vanquish Soul Deck List & Card Guide

Hungry Burger Nouvelles

Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel - Hungry Burger Nouvelles
Among Ritual Monster Decks, Hungry Burger Nouvelles can be quite a match-up against Nemleria, due to some of their effects using your own monsters in Attack Position as tribute. It also has quite a suprising amount of interruptions and negates, making it hard to do plays against this Deck.
Hungry Burger Nouvelles Deck Guide

Mathmech

Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel - Mathmech
Despite some hits in the banlist, some recent support to the Cyberse type of monsters made Mathmech the best Aggro Combo Deck in the game from its sheer variety and ability to play through interruptions.

Best Cards to Tech Against Nemleria

Imperial Iron Wall
Imperial Iron Wall So long as this Continuous Trap Card is face-up and active, Imperial Iron Wall will not allow any card to be banished from both players. This effectively shuts down the Deck due to a number of cards requiring cards to be banished either as a requirement or as a cost to activate their effects.
Chaos Hunter
Chaos Hunter A better version Imperial Iron Wall, Chaos Hunter restricts only the opponent from banishing any card so long as the monster is face-up on the field. What makes this even more annoying is how easy it is to summon, only requiring to discard a card after you banish a card.
Skill Drain
Skill Drain Skill Drain does himper a lot of the monsters in a Nemleria Deck, denying them either the ability to get card advantage on the field, or losing any good ATK boosts to be able to win via battle.
Droll & Lock Bird
Droll & Lock Bird Droll & Lock Bird is beginning to rise as a must-have hand trap with a number of Decks becoming reliant on Special Summons or searches for more card advantage. As soon as this card's effect resolves, both players are not allowed to add any more cards from the Deck to the hand by any means.
