Galaxy Eyes OTK Deck Guide: How to Play

Playstyle and Win Condition

This Galaxy Eyes OTK Deck isn't anything new.

The combo for it is pretty simple: get Galaxy Eyes Afterglow Dragon and another Level 8 Monster on the Field to use them as material for your Number 62: Galaxy Eyes Prime Photon Dragon.

In the middle of an attack, using its Effect and damage while detaching Galaxy Eyes Afterglow Dragon which increases its 4000 ATK to 5600 ATK, while Galaxy Eyes Afterglow Dragon activates its effect allowing you to attach a Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon to Number 62: Galaxy Eyes Prime Photon Dragon doubling its ATK to 11200.

This will pretty much OTK against any monster your opponent has with an ATK below 3200.

① Activate Trade-In from the Hand → Discard Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon , then draw 2 cards..
② Activate Galaxy Trance → Pay 2000LP and target a Galaxy Eyes Afterglow Dragon from the Deck and the Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon in your GY to Special Summon both onto the Field.
③ Xyz Summon Number 62: Galaxy Eyes Prime Photon Dragon using both the Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon and Galaxy Eyes Afterglow Dragon on the Field as Material.

A quick and easy OTK combo.

With your Number 62: Galaxy Eyes Prime Photon Dragon, detach Galaxy Eyes Afterglow Dragon which increases its 4000ATK to 5600ATK.

This will trigger Galaxy Eyes Afterglow Dragon's effect allowing you to attach a Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon to Number 62: Galaxy Eyes Prime Photon Dragon doubling its ATK to 11200ATK.

This will pretty much OTK your opponent through any of their monsters with an ATK below 3200!

Contact "C"
Contact "C" Contact "C" pretty much locks your opponent's Galaxy Eyes OTK Deck by stopping them from Xyz Summoning, unless they use it as Material.
PSY-Framegear Gamma
PSY-Framegear Gamma A hand trap that can be used to negate the effects of your opponent's Galaxy Eyes OTK Deck Monster's Effects especially when used against cards like Galaxy Soldier or other similar cards, destroying them in the process.
Prohibition
Prohibition Using Prohibition and naming cards like Galaxy Eyes Afterglow Dragon, or any similar card will pretty much lock your opponent's Galaxy Eyes OTK Deck from being able to perform as it should. Just make sure to use it as soon as you know that your opponent is using a Galaxy Eyes OTK Deck before they can bring out any of these cards.
Effect Veiler
Effect Veiler Another hand trap like PSY-Framegear Gamma that can be used against cards like Galaxy Soldier, and the like.
Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring
Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring This card can be quickly used to cancel specific effects that are at the core of Galaxy Eyes OTK decks by discarding this card.

Limit Summons & Negate

This Galaxy Eyes OTK Deck relies on searches and chaining summons to use for Xyz Summons to OTK you.

Using a combination of spells and traps to interrupt your opponent will quickly put the duel in your favor.

I also have a combo with galaxy eyes cloud dragon, so you sacrifice After glow, go into soilder to get cloud, summon cloud, tribute cloud, summon After glow, and if you have it, use Galaxy Expedition to summon Another afterglow, then go into number 62, then otk.
