As this Deck Recipe is primarily a Rikka Deck, all of the classic cards of the archetype are available here. Rikka Princess and Rikka Petal are crucial to get the combo going, alongside Rikka Glamour and especially Rikka Konkon, who enables the Deck's tributing shenanigans.
Hellebore and Snowdrop is for access to Teardrop or any Rank 8 Xyz Monster, while Sheet and Tranquility serve as further interruptions to protect this Deck.
The Ragnaraika Engine provides an alternative strategy to fall back into if the cards are ready and the Rikka cards have been interrupted in the middle of the combo. It helps that Ragnaraika Bloom provides a stat boost for Plant-type monsters, and being a one-card combo starter with Evil Seed and Samurai Beetle.
Ragnaraika Skeletal Soldier is the main monster to start with this engine, but ideally you'd want to have at least Chain Coils out, as its effect is specifically designed against hand traps.
Much like a usual Rikka Plant Deck, Sunseed Genius Loci is can be a combo starter of its own, especially with how easy it is to bring out on the field using Unexpected Dai. Sunvine Sowing further extends that combo once into a stronger Link monster play.
The Therion Engine also get a spot in the Deck Recipe, thanks to Therion Lily
Borea being a Plant-type monster itself. It is searchable with Therion Discolosseum, and together with Therion King
Regulus it creates a once-per-turn omni-negate.

All that matters for a Tearlaments Deck is to have their key monsters be sent to the Graveyard--and that includes Rikka's way of tributing monsters. Any variant of the Tearlaments Deck will greatly appreciate having their cards sent to the GY, and trigger multiple effects one after another because of it.
Tearlaments Deck List & Card Guide
Purrely Decks often end with only one monster on the field, but it is one of the most immovable monsters out there: Expurrely Noir. It cannot be affected by any activated card effect so long as has 5 or more materials to it, and its ability to spin cards back to the Deck becomes a Quick Effect while it has a Level 1 "Purrely" monster attached to it.
A normal Rescue-ACE combo has them setting up to 4 Spells and Traps on their turn, allowing them to interrupt any play as much as they can. What makes this Deck even more dangerous is the fact that it is currently splashable against the Snake-Eyes Deck Engine in lieu of this Deck being predominantly FIRE Attribute.
Rescue-ACE Deck List & Card Guide
Droll & Lock Bird | |
---|---|
Rikka Decks need quite a lot of searching to get certain key cards ready on hand. Droll & Lock Bird deals with them for the rest of the turn by preventing any further addition to the hand for the rest of the turn, and can even stop the resolution of Maxx "C"'s effects! | |
Summon Limit | |
Despite being a Control Deck, a Rikka Deck has a rather powerful combo that almost always guarantees full combo so long as they can keep coming back to Loci and Dryas. Summon Limit bottlenecks all type of summons to just two overall summons in a turn, effectively stopping the combo power of this Deck. | |
Thunder Dragon Colossus | |
An alternative to Droll & Lock Bird if players can slot in a Thunder-type monster or play a Thunder Dragon Deck, Thunder Dragon Colossus acts as a floodgate. While present on the field, the only way to add cards to the hand is by drawing them. | |
Skill Drain | |
While Skill Drain is face-up and active on the field, all monsters on the field will have their effects negated. The "Rikka" monsters cannot bypass this effect unless they somehow get their respective monsters off the field by the time the effect resolves. |
