Boss Monsters

Rafale, Champion Fur Hire
Rafale, Champion Fur Hire Among the Main Deck Monsters outside of the Spright monsters, Rafale, Champion Fur Hire is the one you want on the field as soon as possible. On Special Summon, it has a excavate effect that adds a fellow "Fur Hire" monster to the hand, and has a negate agaisnt monster effects.
Hugin the Runick Wings
Hugin the Runick Wings In any version of a Runick Deck, Hugin the Runick Wings is absolutely a boss monster. It's the best way to search out the Field Spell, while at the same time providing protection from card destruction effects.
Folgo, Justice Fur Hire
Folgo, Justice Fur Hire All Folgo, Justice Fur Hire needs for monster materials is 3 monsters with different Types--which is easy to achieve with this Deck. Just take note, however, that as it is a Link Monster, it is most likely occupying the Extra Monster Zone--something that the Runick Fusion Monsters need.
Underworld Goddess of the Closed World
Underworld Goddess of the Closed World If the Field looks too full of monsters, there's always an option to summon Underworld Goddess of the Closed World. The fact that it can use a monster the opponent controls as one of the materials means it can safely remove some pesky boss monsters. On top of that, it can negate Special Summons.

Best Decks to Use Against Runick Spright Fur Hire

Exosister

Master Duel - Exosisters Banner

A very unorthodox Deck to go up against, but still one very hard matchup for any Runick Deck: Exosisters punishes any attempt to move cards out of the Graveyard, as doing so lets them Xyz Summon using all of their Main Deck monsters on the field.

On top of that, their targeted banish effect is a very real danger against Runick Fountain, and the plethora of Quick-Play Spells in the GY.

Kashtira

Master Duel - Kashtira Banner

A match-up against a Kashtira player is all about having the right cards at the right time, and a little bit of luck. The interruptions have to be well-timed, otherwise it will end up getting some of the Quick-Play Spells banished.

The biggest threat this Deck has is Kashtira Arise-Heart, which acts as a pseudo-Macro Cosmos as long as that Xyz Monster is on the field. Get rid of that monster at all costs, as soon as possible.

Transaction Rollback Burn

Master Duel - Transaction Rollback Burn

The worst match-up a Runick Deck can go against is a Deck that denies the GY and forces cards to be banished. The second worst-matchup is a Deck that does not give a chance for the Quick-Play Spells to target cards.

This Deck is not meta compared to the other two Decks listed above, but those unprepared for the various mill effects to get Transaction Rollback to the GY will get bombarded by multiple burn damage effects.

Best Cards to Tech Against Runick Spright Fur Hire

Macro Cosmos
Macro Cosmos A big part of a Runick Deck's playstyle is having cards in the GY, especially the Quick-Play Spells. Denying it by banishing cards supposed to be sent to the GY is a big blow to their strategy, hence Macro Cosmos is one of the strongest counters against a Runick Deck.
Droll & Lock Bird
Droll & Lock Bird Most of the power of the Runick Deck comes from drawing card, especially through the help of Runick Fountain to recycle cards and draw them simultaneously. Droll & Lock Bird is a popular hand trap that denies both players any further additions to the hand from the Deck.
Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring
Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring Using the effect of Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring at the perfect timing is key to stopping the Deck from gaining further advantage. Remember that "Runick Fountain" has a hard once-per-turn clause on its Draw effect, meaning once it activates, any and all usage of it from the user will not refresh until the next turn--even if the Field Spell Card is taken off the field, and reactivated again.
Necrovalley
Necrovalley Necrovalley is the original floodgate and anti-meta card, locking cards in the GY and preventing them from going anywhere else in the Duel. So long as this Field Spell is active, the Runick Player cannot use their Field Spell's effect to recycle back their Quick-Play Spells.
Dimension Shifter
Dimension Shifter Dimension Shifter can be a brutal counter for any version of the Runick Deck--especially if the user of this hand trap goes first, and activates it while they do not have any cards in the GY. For two turns, it basically acts as a Macro Cosmos, banishing all cards that were meant to be sent to the Graveyard.
