Spellbook Deck Guide: How to Play

Playstyle and Win Condition

This Spellbook Deck is a combo deck that using a combination of the Spellbook Engine in conjunction with the Dogmatika and Shaddoll archetypes to create an environment where your opponent won't be able to do much of anything.

Using a combination of Spellbook Cards, you can can quickly combo off and get a large number of negates, as well as locking your opponent out from Special Summoning more than once per turn, leaving you with a very strong End Board, while they're sitting over there, wondering what else they can do.

Step	Description
①	Set & activate your Spellbook of Secrets → Search for Spellbook Magician of Prophecy from the Deck and send it to the Hand.
②	Activate Magicians' Souls Effect from the Hand → Special Summon it onto the Field while sending a Dogmatika Maximus from the Deck to the GY.
③	Normal Summon Spellbook Magician of Prophecy. → Spellbook Magician of Prophecy's Effect Triggers → Search for Spellbook of the Master from the Deck and send it to the Hand.
④	Link Summon Crowley, the First Propheseer using both the Magicians' Souls and the Spellbook Magician of Prophecy on the Field, placing it on the left EMZ.
⑤	Activate Crowley, the First Propheseer's Effect and target Spellbook of the Master, Spellbook of Knowledge, and Spellbook of Life to show to your opponent for them to choose one to send to your hand.
⑥	Set & activate Spellbook of the Master from your Hand → Reveal to your opponent the card that they chose for you in the previous step → Target Spellbook of Secrets in your GY to copy its Effects. → Search for Spellbook of Life from the Deck and send it to your Hand.
⑦	Set & activate your Spellbook of Life → Banish the Magicians' Souls in your GY and reveal to your opponent the same card he chose → Target Dogmatika Maximus in your GY to Special Summon it onto the Field.
⑧	Activate Dogmatika Maximus's Effect → Target El Shaddoll Apkallone and Titaniklad the Ash Dragon from the Extra Deck and send them to the GY.
⑨	Activate El Shaddoll Apkallone's GY Effect → Search for Schadoll Schism from the Deck while discarding any random Card from your Hand.
⑩	Set your Schadoll Schism in your Spell/Trap Zone and end your turn.
⑪	During the End Phase, Activate your Titaniklad the Ash Dragon's GY Effect → Special Summon Dogmatika Ecclesia, the Virtuous onto the Field → Dogmatika Ecclesia, the Virtuous's Effect Triggers → Search for Dogmatika Fleurdelis, the Knighted from the Deck and send it to the Hand.

As soon as your opponent does something, feel free to activate your Schadoll Schism to Fusion Summon Ell Shaddoll Winda onto the Field by banishing both El Shaddoll Apkallone and Titaniklad the Ash Dragon from your GY.

With El Shaddoll Winda on the Field, this limits both players from being able to Special Summon only once per turn.

And, when your opponent summons a monster and activates its effect, feel free to activate Dogmatika Fleurdelis, the Knighted's Effect to Special Summon itself onto the Field from your Hand and negate said effect.

Best Cards to Tech Against Zombie Vampire

	PSY-Framegear Gamma
	A hand trap that can be used to negate the effects of your opponent's Spellbook Deck especially when used against Cards like Magicians' Souls or Spellbook Magician of Prophecy, throwing a wrench into the combo, and destroying them in the process.
	Prohibition
	Using Prohibition and naming Magicians' Souls or Spellbook of Secrets will put a halt on Spellbook Deck Users' ability to pop off into their combos.
	Effect Veiler
	Another hand trap like PSY-Framegear Gamma that can be used against the various Spellcaster Monster cards.
	Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring
	This card can be quickly used to cancel specific effects that are at the core of Spellbook Decks by discarding this card.

Limit Summons & Negate

This Spellbook Deck relies on searches and chaining effects to use for combos to Special Summon from the Extra Deck to create a strong board early in the game.

Using a combination of spells and traps to interrupt your opponent will quickly put the duel in your favor.
