Playstyle and Win Condition

If you're a fan of Destiny HERO - Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer or Artifact Scythe plays, you shouldn't be ignoring the power of Monarchs.

They key with this deck is to get either Ehther the Heavenly Monarch or Erebus the Underworld Monarch, while activating both Domain of the True Monarchs and The Monarchs Erupt and win the Duel.

It can't be any easier.

Monarchs are an aggressively powerful Archetype due to their ability to destroy opponent's assets simply by being summoned onto the Field. Monarch Monsters have strong enough ATK such as Ehther the Heavenly Monarch and Erebus the Underworld Monarch to take out any low-level Monsters that your opponent may bring out early game.

Domain of the True Monarchs hinges on the fact that you don't use an Extra Deck, effectively locking your opponent out from using their Extra Deck. This makes Monarch Decks a viable First Turn Deck.

And, with The Monarchs Erupt, you basically lock your opponent out of their Card Effects as well.

Best Cards to Tech Against Domain Monarch

	By Order of the Emperor
	A Trap Card that negates the activation of a Monster Effect, but gives your opponent the chance to draw an additional card.
	Skill Drain
	A Trap Card that negates the Effects of all Face-Up Monsters on the field at the cost of 1000LP.
	Blast Held by a Tribute
	Similar to Mirror Force, when a Tribute Monster declares an Attack, you have the option of destroying as many Face-Up Attack Position Monsters your opponent has on the field, dealing 1000 damage directly to your opponent if you do.
	Zombie World
	This card prevents Tribute Summons, preventing Monarch Monsters from being summoned onto the field.
	Solemn Warning
	This card negates the summon of Monarch Monsters at the cost of 2000LP, and destroys the Monster in the process.
