Master Duel December 5 2025 Banlist Update

Konami has compiled the trends and results of Decks used in Ranked Duels, and will limit cards with outstandingly high usage and win rates in line with their impact on the metagame.

Master Duel - Banlist Update Protocol

The changes made to the list reflect Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel's aim of preventing Decks from being too difficult to counter, and ensuring the game's tactical element is not compromised by overly short and/or one-sided Duels.

New Banlist Update for December 5 2025

Forbidden Cards

Forbidden Cards cannot be added to a Deck list for legal play, such as event duels and Ranked Duels. However, they can be used in settings where the Unlimited setting is in use.
