Playstyle and Win Condition

This deck showcases the synergy between both Dark Magician as well as the Gravekeepers Archetype.

Combining the two, one can effectively render various Meta Decks virtually unusable thanks to the use of Necrovalley which stops the constant moving of cards in and out of the GY.

The other way these two seemingly unrelated Archetypes synergize well is because of one key Fusion Monster -- The Dark Magicians. A fusion monster that requires 1 Dark Magician and 1 other Spellcaster Monster, and lo and behold, all Gravekeeper Monsters are Spellcasters.

You can quickly and effectively Fusion Summon the different Dark Magician monsters with the help of Gravekeepers widening your options and plays to create a strong board, early on in the game.

Step	Description
①	Activate Gravekeeper's Commandant's Effect from the Hand → Discard itself and search for Necrovalley from the Deck and send it to the Hand.
②	Set & activate Necrovalley on your Field Card Zone.
③	Normal Summon Gravekeeper's Spiritualist → Activate Gravekeeper's Spiritualist's Effect and Fusion Summon Gravekeeper's Supernaturalist using the Gravekeeper's Spiritualist on the field, and the extra Gravekeeper's Monster in your Hand.
④	End your Turn and Trigger Gravekeeper's Supernaturalist's Effect to add 1 Gravekeeper's Monster from the Deck to the Hand.
⑤	On your Next Turn → Normal Summon the added Gravekeeper's Monster from the Deck.
⑥	Set & activate Secrets of Dark Magic and Fusion Summon The Dark Magicians using the Gravekeeper's Monster on the Field and the Dark Magician in your Hand.

A basic combo to showcase the synergy between Dark Magician and Gravekeepers.

With Gravekeeper's Supernaturalist on the Field, your Necrovalley is safe from being destroyed. This is perfect against those pesky decks tend to Banish cards from the GY on a regular basis, or simply move monsters in and out of the GY. Yes, we're looking at you, DPE, Prank-Kids, Eldlich, etc.

With The Dark Magicians on the other hand, it will give you a chance to Draw another card whenever your opponent activates a Spell or Trap Card, while also giving you the option Set it, and being able to Activate it, if it's a Quick-Play Spell or a Trap Card.

You also get the added benefit of being able to Special Summon Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl if your The Dark Magicians is destroyed.

Best Cards to Tech Against Dark Magician Gravekeeper

	Contact "C"
	Contact "C" is a good card to use as it keeps your opponent from doing any Extra Deck Summons unless they use it as Material. This pretty much locks your opponent out from using Fusion Summoning their strong monsters onto the Field.
	Twin Twisters
	For a simple quick fix, using Twin Twisters will help you get rid of 2 spells/traps on the field at the cost of discarding 1 card.
	Prohibition
	Basically naming a card like Dark Magical Circle, Eternal Soul will stop them from working moving forward. Though they won't work on cards already on the field, you can quickly get rid of those using something like Twin Twisters.
	Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring
	This card can be quickly used to cancel specific effects that are at the core of Beetrooper decks by discarding this card.

Limit Summons & Disrupt

This Dark Magician Gravekeeper Deck relies on searches and using various card effects to use fo control the pace of the duel in their favor .
