Best Card Packs to Buy
Avoid the Master Pack
We recommend avoiding pulling on the Master Pack, especially for newer Duelists in Master Duel. The Master Pack is not time-limited, but has the largest, most diverse pool of cards, which makes it very unlikely to open any key cards or staples from this pack without luck being a factor.
It might be better to craft the cards instead, using any cards you don't want and dismantled from previous Master Pack pulls. Should you pull from the Master Pack, dismantle any unwanted cards from all rarities to make room for the cards you would like to craft down the line.

Available Packs in Master Duel
Normal Packs
Normal Packs consist of of the Selection Packs that gets updated at least once a month, and the Master Pack that contains most of the cards added in Master Duel.
Selection Packs
Selection Packs are similar to booster packs in the paper version of Yu-Gi-Oh. Each Selection Pack contains cards that revolve around a certain theme or archetype, with the exception of Master Packs.
Additionally, these packs are time-limited and are only available in the store for usually around 60 days.
All Secret Packs and Current Selection Packs
Secret Packs
Secret Packs are unlocked after opening key cards from other packs, or by crafting UR or SR cards. They also follow more focused themes revolving around certain archetypes.
Secret Packs are only available for 24-hours, but can be made avaliable again buy opening key cards.
How to Unlock Secret Packs
Bonus Packs
For most of the time, only the Legacy Pack is available on the Bonus Packs section. The Legacy Pack contains only 2 cards per pack and are given as rewards for completing missions, Ranked gameplay and event rewards.
Currently, players that are subscribed to Playstation Plus can receive 50 free bonus packs.
Bundle Packs
Once purchased, Bundle or Special Packs include 10 Master Packs in addition to a guaranteed copy of the card said bundle is named after. For example, if you purchase the Solemn Judgment Bundle, you will get 10 Master Packs and one copy of the Solemn Judgment card.
