Agent Deck Guide: How to Play

As of the September 30 banlist update, Crystron Halqifibrax has been moved into Forbidden Cards list.
This card cannot be played in Casual Matches or in Ranked Matches.

Playstyle and Win Condition

This Agent Archetype Deck's main focus is to quickly bring out Monsters to use for Synchro Summons, while using the Artifact Scythe Engine to effectively lock your opponent out from their Extra Deck, giving you enough time to further build your Board and effectively OTK them on your next turn.

The Agent of Creation - Venus
Step Description
Normal Summon The Agent of Creation - Venus → Activate The Agent of Creation - Venus's Effect to Special Summon 3 Copies of Mystical Shine Ball onto the Field, sacrificing 500LP per Mystical Shine Ball.
Link Summon Union Carrier using the The Agent of Creation - Venus and one of your Mystical Shine Balls on the Field.
Activate Union Carrier's Effect to Equip Eva onto one of your Mystic Shine Ball from either the Deck ofr from your Hand.
Link Summon Protector of the Agents - Moon using the two remaining Mystic Shine Balls on your field.
Activate Eva's GY Effect as Chain Link 1 and Protector of the Agents - Moon as Chain Link 2. → Using Eva's Effect, banish two of your Mystical Shine Balls from your GY. → Chain Link 2: with Protector of the Agents - Moon's Effect, send Majesty Hyperion to the GY. → Chain Link 1: With Eva's Effect, search for The Agent of Life - Neptune and D.D. Sprite from the Deck and send it to the Hand.
Activate The Agent of Life - Neptune's Effect from the Hand to discard it → Special Summon The Agent of Creation - Venus → Banish The Agent of Life - Neptune from the GY → Special Summon Majesty Hyperion from the GY.
Activate The Agent of Life - Neptune's Banish Effect → Search for The Sanctuary in the Sky from the Deck and send it to the Hand.
Set The Sanctuary in the Sky onto your Field Spell Zone.
Special Summon D.D. Sprite by Banishing the Union Carrier on the Field.
Link Summon Artifact Dagda using both the Protector of the Agents - Moon and The Agent of Creation - Venus on the Field.
Link Summon Crystron Halqifibrax using both the Majesty Hyperion and the D.D. Sprite on the Field.
Crystron Halqifibrax's Effect Triggers which will Trigger Artifact Dagda's Effect as Chain Link 1 & 2 respectively → Chain Link 2: Artifact Dagda's Effect Triggers → Search for Artifact Scythe from the Deck and set it in your Spell/Trap Zone. → Chain Link 1: Crystron Halqifibrax's Effect Triggers → Search for Herald of Orange Light from the Deck and Special Summon it onto the Field.
Link Summon Celestial Knightlord Parshath using both the Artifact Dagda and Herald of Orange Light on the Field. → Celestial Knightlord Parshath's Effect will Trigger discarding 1 Card from your Hand to Search for Archlord Kristya from the Deck to send it to your Hand.
End Your Turn.
On your opponent's Main Phase, when your opponent triggers any effect at all → Activate Crystron Halqifibrax"s Effect to Banish itself → Special Summon T.G. Wonder Magician form the Extra Deck onto the Field. → Activate T.G. Wonder Magician's Effect to Target and Destroy the Artifact Scythe on your Spell Trap Zone → Artifact Scythe Special Summons itself onto the Field effectively locking your opponent out from their Extra Deck.
Immediately after the above step resolves → Activate T.G. Wonder Magician's Quick Effect → Synchro Summon Baronne de Fleur using both the T.G. Wonder Magician and Artifact Scythe on the Field.
Activate Celestial Knightlord Parshath's Effect → Banish Artifact Scythe from the GY to Special Summon Archlord Kristya which effectively locks both you and your opponent out from Special Summoning.

This ONE CARD Combo effectively leaves you with a Board comprised of Baronne de Fleur, Archlord Kristya, and a Celestial Knightlord Parshath.

What makes this combo annoying for your opponent is that with Artifact Scythe, they're ultimately locked out of their Extra Deck that turn. And with you summoning Archlord Kristya at the beginning of their turn, it basically locks them from Special Summoning as well. (Although, it locks you from Special Summoning too)

But, with a combined ATK of 8200, you have more than enough to OTK your opponent on your next turn -- especially if you use Baronne de Fleur's effect to get rid of any pesky Cards your opponent has on their field.

Step Description
Normal Summon Diviner of the Herald → Activate Diviner of the Herald's Effect to search for Trias Hierarchia form the Deck and send it to the GY.
Activate Trias Hierarchia's Effect from the GY to Tribute Diviner of the Herald on the Field to Special Summon itself onto the Field. → Activate Diviner of the Herald's Effect from the GY to Special Summon Buten from the Deck.
Synchro Summon Masterflare Hyperion from the Extra Deck using both the Trias Hierarchia and Buten on the Field.
Activate Masterflare Hyperion's Effect to send The Agent of Creation - Venus to the GY to copy its Effect → Activate Masterflare Hyperion's Effect and Special Summon 2 Mystical Shine Balls from the Deck to the Field at the cost of 500LP per Mystical Shine Ball.
Link Summon Link Spider using one of your Mystical Shine Balls on the Field.
Link Summon Artifact Dagda using the Linkspider and Mystical Shine Ball on the Field.
Activate Masterflare Hyperion's Effect once again to Special Summon your 3rd Mystical Shine Ball onto the Field which will trigger Artifact Dagda's Effect as Chain Link 1 & 2 respectively → Chain Link 2: Artifact Dagda's Effect Triggers → Search for Artifact Scythe from the Deck and set it in your Spell/Trap Zone. → Chain Link 1: Masterflare Hyperion searches the Deck for your 3rd Mystical Shine Ball and Special Summons it onto the Field at the cost of 500LP.
Activate Butan's Effect from the GY to Banish itself → Target the Mystical Shine Ball onto the Field to turn it into a Tuner while it's Face-Up on the Field.
Link Summon Crystron Halqifibrax using both the Artifact Dagda and the Mystic Shine Ball on the Field. → Crystron Halqifibrax's Effect Triggers → Search for Herald of Orange Light from the Deck and Special Summon it onto the Field.
End Your Turn.
On your opponent's Main Phase, when your opponent triggers any effect at all → Activate Crystron Halqifibrax"s Effect to Banish itself → Special Summon T.G. Wonder Magician form the Extra Deck onto the Field. → Activate T.G. On your next Main Phase → Activate Masterflare Hyperion's Effect to send Majesty Hyperion to the GY. → Activate Majesty Hyperion's Effect from the GY → Banish The Agent of Creation - Venus from the GY to Special Summon Majesty Hyperion from the GY onto the Field.
Link Summon Protector of the Agents - Moon using both the Majesty Hyperion and Herald of Orange Light on the Field.
Activate Protector of the Agents - Moon's Effect to send The Agent of Life - Neptune to the GY.
Activate Masterflare Hyperion's Effect → Banish The Agent of Life - Neptune from the GY and Banish one of your opponent's Cards on the Field.
Activate The Agent of Life - Neptune's Banish Effect to search for Sanctuary in the Sky from the Deck and send it to the Hand.
Set your Sanctuary in the Sky onto your Field Spell Zone.
Link Summon Celestial Knightlord Parshath using both the Protector of the Agents - Moon and Masterflare Hyperion on the Field. → Activate Celestial Knightlord Parshath's Effect, discard 1 card and search for The Agent of Life - Neptune from the Deck and send it to the Hand.
Activate The Agent of Life - Neptune's Effect from the Hand → Discard itself to Special Summon Masterflare Hyperion from the GY onto the Field.

This ONE CARD Combo, albeit longer, features the Masterflare Hyperion has the effect of being able to Banish one of your opponent's cards on the field, at the cost of Banishing a Fairy Monster from your GY.

Ultimately, this Combo also locks your opponent out from their Extra Deck via the Artifact Scythe Engine, giving you enough time to bring out even more cards during your turn for a follow-up OTK.

With a combined ATK of 8600, you have more than enough as long as you are able to clear your opponent's field with the combined efforts of both Masterflare Hyperion and Baronne de Fleur.

And if this still isn't enough, you can effectively follow this up by Link Summoning Accesscode Talker using both your Baronne de Fleur and Celestial Knightlord Parshath, while targeting the Celestial Knightlord Parshath in your GY, giving you an Accesscode Talker with 4500ATK, as well as 4 Link Monsters in the GY to use as fodder for a potential Board Wipe.

Best Cards to Tech Against Agent

Nibiru, the Primal Being
Nibiru, the Primal Being When users of a Agent Decks begin their summoning spree, you can quickly tribute as many face-up monsters on the field, and summon this onto your opponent's field.
This will quickly disrupt them from doing any more summons or even stop them from activating their Card Effects.
Infinite Impermanence
Infinite Impermanence This card, when used, effectively negates the activation of a Monster Card's Effect, which ultimately ruins the Summon Momentum Agent Deck players need to Synchro Summon their strong Boss Monsters onto the field.
Summon Limit
Summon Limit A trap card that limits the summon of both parties to a maximum of two times per turn. This will quickly put a halt to chaining Summons that Agent Deck users do to quickly bring out their powerful Extra Deck Monsters.
Vanity's Fiend
Vanity A monster that can't be special summoned, but locking special summons until he's destroyed. This will quickly put a halt on any and all Agent Deck Summons, but do note that you won't be able to do any special summons as well.
Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring
Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring Using this card, you can quickly cancel specific effects that are at the core of Agent Decks by discarding this card.
You can apply this whenever your opponent adds cards from the GY to their hand, Deck, or Extra Deck, whenever they Special Summon a Monster Card from the GY, or whenever they banish a card from the GY.

Limit Summons

This Agent Deck relies on Summoning monsters quickly and activate their effects to disrupt your plays.

Using a combination of spells and traps to stop those summons from happening will quickly put the duel in your favor.
