Paleo Frog Decks isn't the typical type of Deck with combos and such.
It's more of a reactive type of Deck that centers around Toadally Awesome as well as your plethora of Trap Cards in tow, with the aim to limit your opponent's movements, giving you enough time to bring out your stronger Boss Monsters like Mekk-Knight Crusadia Avramax or Borrelsword Dragon.
The main strength of this deck is in its ability to recycle cards in and out of the GY to use as material, through the power of both the Paleozoic and Frog engines.
Normally, you'd want to summon either Ronintoadin or Dupe Frog face down onto the field, as well as any and all Trap Cards in your Hand.
With this, simply react to whatever your opponent does, trying to limit their actions as much as possible using either Hand Traps and/or your Traps on the Field.
On your next turn, Summon another Frog Monster and Special Summon any Paleozoic Trap Cards you have in the GY onto the field.
Special Summon Toadally Awesome using your two Frog Monsters.
Now, with Toadally Awesome on the field, you have the option of detaching 1 Material from the card and Special Summon a Frog Monster from your Deck.
This will give you ammunition to Negate any Spell/Trap or Monster Effect that your opponent triggers by sending a Water Monster from either your Hand or Face-Up on the Field to the GY.
Alternatively, you can also choose to send Toadally Awesome to the GY to Negate an effect, and in the GY, activate its effect to send it back to the Extra Deck, waiting to be summoned again.
The key to beating Paleo Frog Decks is negating & interrupting their Summons & Card Effect activations.
Going with a deck similar to the Drytron Fairy Control Deck that can control the flow of the Duel may turn things to your favor!
Drytron Fairy Deck List and Card Guide
This Paleo Frog Deck relies on activating Card Effects and Special Summoning Monsters from the GY.
Using a combination of spells and traps to interrupt your opponent will quickly put the duel in your favor.
