Raidraptors are an archetype that focuses on Xyz Monsters, and are one of the rare few Xyz-based archetypes that are able to Rank-Up into even stronger Xyz Monsters. In fact, the archetype revolves around this strategy.
With the addition of new archetype support released in the Wings of the Guardian Selection Pack, the Deck's strategy further pushes its into an all-in strategy to get its newest boss monster, Raidraptor - Rising Rebellion Falcon out on the field to win the game.
The Main Deck Monsters of the Raidraptor Deck have very synergistic swarm effects, all towards the goal of getting the strong monsters out on the field as fast as possible through Xyz Summoning.
The newest additions help out with this playstyle a lot. Bloom Vulture is a one-card combo that Special Summons another "Raidraptor" monster along with it. Noir Lanius helps out by adding a differently-named "Raidraptor" to the hand for a future play.
The core of the Raidraptors remains the same with their Lanius monsters. Fuzzy Lanius makes it easy to maintain card advantage, and Tribute Lanius acts as an omni-"Raidraptor" Foolish Burial.
While you have a "Raidraptor" Xyz Monster, Singing Lanius and Strangle Lanius are free Special Summons that become combo extenders, which are crucial if you want to get to Rising Rebellion Falcon.
Even more important in a Raidraptor Deck are the Rank-Up-Magic Spell Cards, which uses an Xyz Monster to Special Summon another Xyz Monster with a higher Rank.
Raidraptors have their own line of Rank-Up-Magic Spell Cards, like Rank-Up-Magic Skip Force and Rank-Up-Magic Soul Shave Force to assist the Deck in climbing their Xyz Monsters.
There are also a couple of Phantom Knights Rank-Up-Magic Spell Cards that synergize with the Deck like The Phantom Knights' Rank-Up-Magic Launch and Phantom Knights' Rank-Up-Magic Force, giving them options to Xyz Monsters outside of the Raidraptor archetype.
The newest addition to the Deck is Rise Rank-Up-Magic Raidraptor's Force, which is almost exclusively used for Rising Rebellion Falcon. However, it can be used for other "Raidraptor" Xyz Monsters; the monsters targeted by this card just have to equal the Rank of the one being summoned.
Each of the Rank-Up-Magic Spell Cards have their own distinct requirements and restrictions, but all of them have the same goal in summoning a higher-ranked Xyz monster. There are five key cards this Deck Recipe uses, and each one is key

The Phantom Knights' Rank-Up-Magic Launch Ranks up a DARK Xyz Monster to another DARK Xyz Monster that is one Rank higher. This is a Quick-Play Spell, and can be used during the opponent's Main Phase. This can prevent the monster from targeted effects, and bring out an even stronger monster instead.
The requirement is that the DARK Xyz Monster must have no materials attached. For example, after using the effect of Raidraptor - Force Strix which detaches its two materials, it can Rank-Up into Arc Rebellion Xyz Dragon using this Quick-Play Spell on either player's turn.

---|
Rank-Up-Magic Skip Force can only be used on a Raidraptor Xyz Monster, but instead of one Rank it can Xyz Summon a Raidraptor monster that is two Ranks higher instead. It also has a notable effect where it can be used to revive a Raidraptor Xyz monster from the Graveyard when this card is in there.
For example, say you control a Raidraptor - Brave Strix, which is a Rank 5 Xyz Monster. Using Rank-Up-Magic Skip Force, you get to Xyz Summon a Rank 7 Raidraptor Xyz Monster, which happens to be Raidraptor - Arsenal Falcon.

Rank-Up-Magic Soul Shave Force is similar to Skip Force in Ranking-Up a Raidraptor Xyz Monster into an Xyz Monster two Ranks higher, but the Raidraptor Xyz Monster has to come from the Graveyard. However, you can use this to Rank-Up into a non-Raidraptor monster. Be careful when using this; activating this card needs half the Life Points as a cost.
As an example, say there is a copy of Raidraptor - Force Strix in the Graveyard. Activate Soul Shave Force and pay half the Life Points to Special Summon it back from the Graveyard, then immediately use it as Material to Xyz Summon a Rank 6 Xyz Monster: Raidraptor - Revolution Falcon.

---|
Phantom Knights' Rank-Up-Magic Force can be considered a last-resort Rank-Up-Magic. This involves having the right amount of cards of DARK monsters in the Graveyard to banish, alongside a base Xyz Monster to use as material on the field. The number of monsters you have to banish must make up the gap of Ranks between the Xyz Monster used as Material to the Xyz Monster that is about to be summoned.
For example, there is a Raidraptor - Arsenal Falcon on your side of the field. After activating this card, declare that you will banish three Raidraptor monsters from the Graveyard, then target Arsenal Falcon to be Material--which is a Rank 7 Xyz Monsnster. Rank 7, plus the three Banished monsters, makes for Rank 10 Raidraptor - Ultimate Falcon.

Activate it, then target the Force Strix's on the Field, and Brave Strix in the GY; use them and any attached materials to Xyz Summon Raidraptor - Rising Rebellion Falcon. |

Raidraptor - Ultimate Falcon and Raidraptor - Rising Rebellion Falcon are immune to all other card effects, but their card texts never said they were immune from being tributed. Kaijus (and other similar monsters) can counter a combo Deck like Raidraptors very well, so long as they do not have any monster that cannot be used as Tribute fodder.
Of course, the Kaiju Deck has to go second against Raidraptors to even make this happen.
The only thing peskier than a Mikanko's ability to reflect battle damage back are the Equip Spell Cards that make the monsters untargetable and invincible in battle.
Especially dangerous cards include Mikanko Water Arabesque which can tribute away one of your own monsters by equipping itself to your own, and Mikanko Spiritwalk which turns one of your own monsters into an Equip Card.
Mikanko Deck List & Card Guide
Yubel is one of the best Decks that can deal with Raidraptor's powerful boss monsters. For one, they are the best Deck to utilize Super Polymerization, which is what is usually used in bringing out Yubel - The Loving Defender Forever.
Also, much like Mikanko, their strategy revolves reflecting back the battle damage to the opponent. Combined with the Yubel archetype's flexibility and constant way to get a "Yubel" on the field, it is an incredibly hard Deck to deal with.
The Thunder Dragons are here because of one specific boss monster in their archetype: Thunder Dragon Colossus. Its effect of stopping all non-draw searches severely impacts a Raidraptor Deck's strategy, especially as it needs key cards on hand to be able to Rank-Up Xyz Summon.
If the Raidraptors cannot deal with removing Thunder Dragon Colossus, consider it a lost game already.

One of the most consistent Decks in the current format, Fire King Snake-Eyes is still one of the strongest Decks that players can pilot in the current meta.
Its card destruction effects essentially make their own monsters immortal, and through Fire King Sanctuary allowing an easy Xyz Summon into Garunix Eternity, Hyang of the Fire Kings; its Xyz Summon is essentially a board wipe.

In the Force Strix into Cyber Dragon Infinity You cannot use fuzzy lanius's effect as it will lock you into summoning raidraptors only. It's better to use pain lanius to summon force strix.
