Zombie Vampire Deck Guide: How to Play

Playstyle and Win Condition

This Zombie Vampire Deck revolves around how easy it is to recycle monsters in and out of your GY to control the flow of the Duel.

Using your monsters Effect, the main goal here is to bring out Zombie World and Special Summoning Doomking Balerdoch from your GY. This provides you with a pretty strong negate to use whenever your opponent activates a Monster Effect.

This works because Doomking Balerdoch's Negate Effect only works on Zombie Monsters. And with Zombie World on the Field, all Monsters on the Field effectively become Zombie Monsters!

And a cool thing about it is that you can activate Doomking Balerdoch's Negate once per chain!

Quick Turn 1 Baronne de Fleur Combo

Required Cards
Uni-Zombie Mezuki Vampire
Step Description
Normal Summon Uni-Zombie → Activate Uni-Zombie's Effect → Target Uni-Zombie → Discard Mizuki to increase its level → Activate Uni-Zombie's Second Effect → Search for Vampire Retainer in the Deck and send it to the GY.
Activate Vampire Retainer's GY Effect → Discard Vampire Domain → Special Summon Vampire Retainer onto the Field.
Vampire Retainer's Effect Triggers → Search for Vampire's Desire from the Deck and send it to the Hand.
Set & Activate Vampire's Desire → Target Vampire Retainer to increase its Level.
Synchro Summon Baronne de Fleur using the Uni-Zombie & the Vampire Retainer on the Field.

This is a quick Baronne de Fleur Combo that you could do Turn 1, that leaves you with a lot of room and options to move forward.

With Baronne de Fleur you can effectively Negate one of your opponent's actions, and also targetting and destroying one of your opponent's cards, protecting you long enough for your next turn.

Though effectively, you only need Uni-Zombie and Mizuki for this combo, it's best to use Vampire Retainer's GY effect and keep Mizuki in the GY instead of banishing it to Special Summon Vampire Retainer from the GY.

With Mizuki in the GY, you can use it during your next turn for a follow-up combo, similar to the next section.

Link Summon Vampire Sucker using both the Vampire Shadow and Vampire Familiar on the Field, placing it on he left EMZ.
Xyz Summon Beatrice, Lady of the Eternal using both Vampire Scarlet Scourge and Vampire Grace as Material, setting it in the center Monster Zone where Vampire Sucker is pointing at.
Set your Vampire Domination and end your Turn. → Activate Beatrice, Lady of the Eternal's Quick Effect → Search for Necroworld Banshee from the Deck and send it to the GY.
On your Opponent's Turn, after the Draw Phase → Activate Beatrice, Lady of the Eternal's Quick Effect, and Activate Necroworld Banshee's GY Effect as Chain Link 1 & 2 respectively. → Chain Link 2: Banish Necroworld Banshee and Search for and Activate Zombie World straight from the Deck. → Chain Link 1: Search for Doomking Balerdroch in the Deck and send it to the GY.
During your Opponent's Standby Phase activate Doomking Balerdoch's GY Effect and Special Summon it onto the Field.
Activate Vampire Grace's GY Effect and pay 2000LP to Special Summon itself onto the Field. → Vampire Sucker's Effect Triggers → Draw 1 Card.

This fairly long combo presents you with a pretty strong End Board.

The combination of Doomking Balerdoch and Zombie World pretty much provides you with a negate that you can use once per chain as all monsters on the field are turned into Zombie Monsters with the effect of Zombie World, this means whenever your opponent activates a Monster Effect, you can use Doomking Balerdoch to negate said Effect.

Similar to the previous combo, this combo provides you with a similar end board, with the addition of Vampire Fraulein.

Vampire Fraulein offers you the added benefit of paying LP in multiples of 100, and your battling monster (with the benefit of having Zombie World on the Field), gains that much amount in ATK/DEF during the Damage Calculation.
