Budget Eldlich Deck Guide: How to Play

Playstyle and Win Condition

This Eldlich deck is all about controlling the match through powerful traps and card-drawing spells, with Eldlich cycling between the graveyard to board to trigger its effects. The key here is to get one Eldlich on the board and the other in the graveyard as soon as possible while preventing the opponent to play into their deck's strengths.

Cards such as Solemn Judgement, Torrential Tribute, and Needle Ceiling excel at stopping enemy combos at key moments or even before they even get started. This is taken further with Huaquero of the Golden Land, which can banish 1 card from any graveyard. Dogmatika Punishment's potential is also maximized because of your high-ATK extra deck.

Eldlich itself can be a permanent nuisance for your enemy as it can easily cycle back to the board from the graveyard as long as, taking advantage of its powerful effects for both offense and defense. Managing traps and knowing when to use them are crucial to success.

Conquistador/Huaquero + Double Eldlich Combo

This is a staple combo that showcases the synergy between Eldlich and its Zombie traps: Conquistador and Huaquero of the Golden Land. Players can take or maintain control of the board via destroying opponents monsters with Conquistador, or banishing important cards from the graveyard through Huaquero.

0+1 Eldlich Summoning Combo (Going Second or Behind on the Board)

This is a great opener when going second as it maximizes the synergies between Eldlich's effects and other core cards: Cursed Eldland, Eldlixir of Scarlet Sanguine, and the Zombie Traps.

Tip!	You can start Step 2 with Eldlixir's Graveyard effect first to bait a reaction or hand trap first. Assuming your opponent doesn't have a follow-up to it's initial negate card, Your Eldlich will be uninterrupted afterward.

Gravekeeper's decks' ability to shut the Graveyard down while controlling the board is amazing against Eldlich, as it completely negates a core facet of the latter's win-condition. Cards such as Necrovalley must be protected at all costs, or restored to the field as soon as possible to stay on top.

	One way to beat an Eldlich deck is to keep its Spell & Trap Zone as clean as possible. This prevents important combos that involve Eldlich from happening, making Harpie's Feather Duster is one of the best cards for the job.
	Evenly Matched
	Evenly Matched is a great Trap card to run against Eldlich decks since they aim to clear your monsters as much as possible. Triggering it at the right time can result in your opponent banishing his own Eldlich!
	Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring
	Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring is a very strong card card against Eldlich decks because they can easily trigger any of its required effects, which can potentially ruin combos from happening.
	Cosmic Cyclone
	Cosmic Cylcone is a great way to deal with the crippling Spell & Trap Zones that Eldlich decks tend to roll with. Players can snipe key traps such as Eldlixir of Scarlet Sanguine and either zombie traps, preventing their Graveyard effects
