Card(s) Needed
Noh-P.U.N.K. Ze Amin
Step Description
1 Normal Summon Noh-P.U.N.K. Ze Amin, then activate its effect by paying 600 LP, add a copy of Noh-P.U.N.K. Foxy Tune from the Deck to the hand.
2 Activate Noh-P.U.N.K. Foxy Tune from the hand; send itself to the GY, and Special Summon Noh-P.U.N.K. Deer Note from the Deck.
3 Using Noh-P.U.N.K. Ze Amin and Noh-P.U.N.K. Deer Note as materials, Synchro Summon P.U.N.K. Jam Dragon Drive.
4 Trigger the following effects via Chain Link

① Chain Link 1: Trigger the effect of Noh-P.U.N.K. Deer Note after being sent to the GY; Special Summon the Noh-P.U.N.K. Ze Amin in the GY back onto the field.
5 Using Noh-P.U.N.K. Ze Amin and P.U.N.K. Jam Dragon Drive as materials, Synchro Summon Ukiyoe-P.U.N.K. Amazing Dragon.
6 Activate the effect ofUkiyoe-P.U.N.K. Amazing Dragon; Special Summon P.U.N.K. Jam Dragon Drive back onto the field from the GY.
7 (Optional)If you happen to have copies of Infinite Impermanence and Gold Pride - Start Your Engines! on hand, Set them before passing the turn.

Note: You could end this combo with a Psychic End Punisher instead of Ukiyoe-P.U.N.K. Amazing Dragon, but that denies the Special Summon back of P.U.N.K. Jam Dragon Drive.

Leon & Foxy Tune into Pin Baller

Say you have a copy of Gold Pride - Leon and Noh-P.U.N.K. Foxy Tune on hand in your first turn. This combo lets you punish the opponent from having monsters on their field as soon as they hit with Gold Pride - Pin Baller.

Sample Hand
Gold Pride - Leon Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring Droll & Lock Bird Noh-P.U.N.K. Foxy Tune Gold Pride - Better Luck Next Time!
Step Description
1 Activate Noh-P.U.N.K. Foxy Tune from the hand; send itself to the GY, discard Gold Pride - Better Luck Next Time! and Special Summon Noh-P.U.N.K. Ze Amin from the Deck.
2 Activate Noh-P.U.N.K. Ze Amin effect by paying 600 LP, add another copy of Noh-P.U.N.K. Foxy Tune from the Deck to the hand.
3 Activate Gold Pride - Leon from the hand due to having lower LP than the opponent; Special Summon itself onto the field.
4 Using Gold Pride - Leon and Noh-P.U.N.K. Ze Amin as materials; Xyz Summon Gold Pride - Chariot Carrie onto the field.
5 Trigger the effect of Gold Pride - Chariot Carrie on the field; detach one material, then search another copy of Gold Pride - Better Luck Next Time! from the Deck to the hand.
Then, activate the Continuous Spell, then add Gold Pride - Roller Baller from the Deck to the hand.
6 Due to having lower LP than the opponent, Special Summon Gold Pride - Roller Baller from the hand.
7 During the End Phase, trigger the second effect of Gold Pride - Chariot Carrie; return it to the Extra Deck, then Special Summon Gold Pride - Captain Carrie from the Deck.
Then, trigger the effect of Captain Carrie; add a copy of Gold Pride - Start Your Engines! from the Deck to the hand.
8 During the opponent's Main Phase, trigger the effect of Gold Pride - Roller Baller; using itself and Gold Pride - Chariot Carrie as materials to Fusion Summon Gold Pride - Pin Baller.
9 Upon being Fusion Summoned, trigger the effect of Gold Pride - Pin Baller; equip face-up monsters the opponent controls equal to the number of materials used to Fusion Summon this monster.
As you still have less LP at the moment, this effect cannot be negated.

Playstyle and Win Condition

Gold Pride Cards

Gold Pride - Leon Gold Pride - Captain Carrie Gold Pride - Roller Baller Gold Pride - Nytro Head

The Gold Pride cards gain benefits from having lower LP than the opponent; once you do, the archetype's monsters gain more effects; usually being able to Special Summon themselves from the hand.

The three main cards for this Deck are Gold Pride - Leon, Gold Pride - Captain Carrie and Gold Pride - Roller Baller. Make sure to have three copies of each of these monsters to enable the Deck's playstyle.

Monster Main Effects
Gold Pride - Leon ● Special Summon a non-Warrior-type "Gold Pride" monster from the GY
● Enables Synchro Summoning during the opponent's Main Phase
Gold Pride - Captain Carrie ● Searches out a "Gold Pride" Trap Card
● Can provide an ATK boost to an Extra Deck "Gold Pride" monster by banishing "Gold Pride" cards from the GY
Gold Pride - Roller Baller ● Enables Fusion Summoning during the opponent's Main Phase
● Can also use monsters from your hand as material.

The only Gold Pride card to have one copy, Gold Pride - Nytro Head, Special Summons a Level 8 token that cannot be used as material for a Link Monster. Instead, it can be used as a pseudo-Blasting Fuse effect to destroy cards in an entire column.

Gold Pride - Better Luck Next Time! Gold Pride - The Crowd Goes Wild! Gold Pride - Start Your Engines!

The Spell and Trap Cards of the archetype are as essential as the Monsters, and using them as soon as possible. Two of them essentially needs you to have three copies each.

Spell/Trap Main Effects
Gold Pride - Better Luck Next Time! ● Searches a "Gold Pride" monster at the cost of LP equal to its ATK
● Provides a draw for every Extra Deck "Gold Pride" monster returned to the Extra Deck
Gold Pride - The Crowd Goes Wild! ● Adds a "Gold Pride" monster AND Special Summons one from the hand in one effect
Gold Pride - Start Your Engines! ● Forces the opponent to choose one of three random "Gold Pride" monster to Special Summon
● Simultaneously destroys a targeted monster in the same effect.

P.U.N.K. Engine

Noh-P.U.N.K. Ze Amin Noh-P.U.N.K. Foxy Tune Noh-P.U.N.K. Deer Note

Because of the Gold Pride's effect requirement of having lower LP to gain more effects, this is where the P.U.N.K. Engine comes into play. Their effects usually cost LP as a requirement, which enables the Gold Pride cards with synergy.

Monster Main Effects
Noh-P.U.N.K. Ze Amin ● Searches out a "P.U.N.K." monster except itself for 600 LP
● Provides an ATK boost to a "P.U.N.K." monster you control
Noh-P.U.N.K. Foxy Tune ● Can gain LP equal to the ATK of monsters this card destroys via battle
● Can Special Summon itself from the GY by tributing a "P.U.N.K." monster
● Can discard or send itself to GY to add a non-Level 8 "P.U.N.K." Monster
Noh-P.U.N.K. Deer Note ● Can Special Summon itself from the hand by sending another "P.U.N.K." monster from the hand to GY
● It can Special Summon another "P.U.N.K." Monster if this card is sent to the GY.

Hand Traps

Droll & Lock Bird Maxx "C" Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring Called by the Grave Infinite Impermanence

Because the Deck requires so little from each of their respective archetypes, this opens up the Deck to add as many hand traps as the player sees fit. Maxx "C" and Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring still maintain their overall power as mandatory options.

Called by the Grave stops these two hand traps in particular, while Droll & Lock Bird denies all other card additions and Infinite Impermanence stops monster effects as a Turn 1 counter.

Extra Deck Monsters

Gold Pride - Pin Baller Gold Pride - Star Leon Gold Pride - Chariot Carrie

A special effect shared by the "Gold Pride" Extra Deck monsters is their affinity of returning to the Extra Deck. This works to their advantage for the most part, providing advantages as they leave the field and bounce back to the Extra Deck, encouraging the player to keep Summoning them as frequently as possible--regardless of whose turn it is.

Monster Main Effects
Gold Pride - Pin Baller ● Turns monsters opponent controls into Equip Cards when this card is Fusion Summoned
● If LP is lower than opponent's, this effect becomes immune to negation
● Has a floating effect to return this card to the Extra Deck, and Special Summon a monster that enables Fusion Summons
Gold Pride - Star Leon ● Gains ATK based on a monster it targets upon being Synchro Summoned
● Also destroys the targeted monster if LP is lower than opponent's
● Has a floating effect to return this card to the Extra Deck, and Special Summon a monster that enables Synchro Summons
Gold Pride - Chariot Carrie ● Acts as a searcher for the Deck; if LP is lower than opponent's, it can search a Spell AND a Monster
● Has a floating effect that can return this card to the Extra Deck during the End Phase it activates its effect, and Special Summon a monster in its place.
Ukiyoe-P.U.N.K. Rising Carp P.U.N.K. JAM Dragon Drive Ukiyoe-P.U.N.K. Amazing Dragon

As the Deck runs the P.U.N.K. Engine, it stands to reason that it can also run its signature Extra Deck monsters. Rising Carp is an easy way to get two "P.U.N.K." cards on the field to go for either Dragon Drive or Amazing Dragon.

Boss Monsters

Gold Pride - Pin Baller
Gold Pride - Pin Baller Depending on the number of Fusion Materials used to summon Gold Pride - Pin Baller, it can turn that many monsters in to Equip Cards equipped to this card. Activating this effect while your own LP is lower than your opponent's makes this card's effect immune to negation. It also has a free floating effect that lets it summon Roller Baller in its place.
Goyo Guardian
Goyo Guardian Goyo Guardian is a great monster to punish the opponent with. It can Special Summon monsters this card destroys by battle to your side of the field, allowing you to potentially make use of your opponent's own cards against them.
Psychic End Punisher
Psychic End Punisher With both P.U.N.K. and Gold Pride taking advantage with LP differences, Psychic End Punisher is a must-have for this Deck Recipe. It can keep getting stronger every turn with a permanent boost in ATK during the start of your Battle Phase, and by paying LP it can banish a card from the field for free. So long as you have less LP, this card is immune to your opponent's activated effects..
Gold Pride - Chariot Carrie
Gold Pride - Chariot Carrie Gold Pride - Chariot Carrie provides searches for "Gold Pride" Spells and Monsters, and can float a copy of Captain Carrie back onto the field after this monster's effect is activated.
Accesscode Talker
Accesscode Talker Usually a late-game option to summon for its ATK boost effect and card destruction effect, Accesscode Talker ensures the field is as clean as possible before the player can go in with a huge boss monster to win the game.

Vanquish Soul

Master Duel - Vanquish Soul Deck Guide Top Image.png

One of the best Control Decks right now is Vanquish Soul and their constant ability to swap monsters between the field and the hand. Said effect can be used defensively, making targeted effects extremely inefficient against this Deck.

Vanquish Soul Deck List & Card Guide

Labrynth

Labrynth Top Image.png

Right now, there are few Decks that can contend with the interruption power of a Labrynth Deck. If it goes first, it is able to hand rip a couple of cards with the help of Lovely Labrynth. If it goes second, it can play through any interruptions this Deck may have, and be able to use Trap Cards on the same turn as they were set.

Hungry Burger Nouvelles

Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel - Hungry Burger Nouvelles Top Image.png

With the right set-up, Hungry Burger Nouvelles can end up using monsters from this Deck as material if they're in Attack Position for their own Ritual Monsters. Its various negates also make it hard for the Deck to initiate any combos if it happens to be able to go first and set up properly.

Best Cards to Tech Against Gold Pride P.U.N.K.

Skill Drain
Skill Drain Most of the monsters in a Gold Pride P.U.N.K. Deck rely on using its effects that pay LP as cost. Skill Drain denies that opportunity so long as is this Continuous Trap is on the field, and prevents most of the Deck's plays from happening.
Nibiru, the Primal Being
Nibiru, the Primal Being A common combo for a PU.N.K. Deck almost always crosses the 5-summon threshold in order to get to an optimal end board. Nibiru, the Primal Being can be used mid-combo to completely wipe the user's field of monsters.
Dark Ruler No More
Dark Ruler No More Dark Ruler No More can break most fields and make them vulnerable, simply by negating the monsters on the field at the cost of being able to deal damage that turn. It is a cost worth paying to be able to get rid of the opponent's boss monsters with the greatest of ease, and it can't be responded with monster effects upon activation.
Lightning Storm
Lightning Storm There is some reliance in the backrow for a Gold Pride P.U.N.K. Deck, considering it has a couple of Traps and Continuous Spells needed to build their board. Lightning Storm allows players a choice betwen destroying all Attack Position monsters the opponent controls, or all of the Spells and Traps in one fell swoop.
