Mekk-Knight Breakdown

Mekk-Knight Deck Guide: How to Play

Boss Monsters

Dingirsu, the Orcust of the Evening Star
Dingirsu, the Orcust of the Evening Star With support from the small Orcust engine to support the Mekk-Knights, Dingirsu, the Orcust of the Evening Star works as a Boss Monster here. It helps that it can make use of an "Orcust" Link Monster as one of its materials. On Special Summon, it can banish a card on the field.
Mekk-Knight Spectrum Supreme
Mekk-Knight Spectrum Supreme Mekk-Knight Spectrum Supreme is a LINK-3 monster with Link Marrkers pointing down-left, down, and down-right. If there are no monsters in those Main Monster zones, this card is immune to card destruction and targeted card effects.
Mekk-Knight Crusadia Avramax
Mekk-Knight Crusadia Avramax Mekk-Knight Crusadia Avramax is often a splashable boss monster in the Extra Deck in other archetypes, but is quite comfortable in its own archetype. When Link Summoned, the oopponent cannot target any other card with attacks or effects than this monster. It also can boost its ATK based on the monster this card battles during the Damage Step, making it win every monster battle.
Accesscode Talker
Accesscode Talker If a Deck can Link Climb using its Link Monsters, they can easily get to Accesscode Talker. It gains an ATK boost if it uses a Link Monster as material, and it can banish them from the GY to destroy cards on the field. The best part is that the opponent cannot respond to this card's effect activations.

Mekk-Knight Counters: How to Beat

Best Decks to Use Against Mekk-Knight

Tenpai Dragon

Tenpai Dragon

Count on the Tenpai Dragons to be the one archetype that can deal with the Mekk-Knight's boss monster, Mekk-Knight Crusadia Avramax. They may have suffered consistency hits with both Tenpai Dragon Chundra and Sangen Kaimen being Limited as of January 9th, 2025, but that just means they can slot in more board-breaking options and interruptions against everyone.

Tenpai Dragon Deck List & Card Guide

Mathmech

Mathmech

If the Mathmech player manages to go first against Mekk-Knight, its usual combo lines that involve Firewall Dragon Darkfluid - Neo Tempest Terahertz and Primathmech Laplacian can be too much interruption to be able to conduct your own combos.

Mathmech Deck List & Card Guide

Yubel

Yubel

Yubel and its ability to reflect back battle damage with the help of Nightmare Pain can honestly end games against Mekk-Knight, especially if they happen to get Avramax or another high ATK monster out. Any card destruction against the "Yubel" monsters are beneficial as well, as they can easily replace themselves with other "Yubel" monsters.

Yubel Deck List & Card Guide

Voiceless Voice

Voiceless Voice

Much like Mathmech, a Voiceless Voice has a very consistent opening combo resulting in a powerful boss monster, interruptions and negates ready on the Field. Skull Guardian, Protector of the Voiceless Voice can still lose to Avramax in the Battle Phase with the help of its ATK boost effect, but non-targeting effects can deal with it.

Best Cards to Tech Against Mekk-Knight

Kashtira Arise-Heart
Kashtira Arise-Heart So long as Kashtira Arise-Heart is on the field, all cards sent to the GY are instead Banished. It also gets a Quick Effect of banishing a card face-down from the field, all the while continuing to absorb a card as material each time some are banished by any means.
Maxx "C"
Maxx "C" Because of the Mekk-Knight's nature on Special Summoning, Maxx "C" can net its user a huge card advantage if they let this hand trap's effect resolve properly. The proper use of this card can easily get about 1-2 draws, if not even more if the opponent dares.
Mulcharmy Fuwalos
Mulcharmy Fuwalos Mulcharmy Fuwalos is basically a secondary Maxx "C", but has a little restriction where draws can only happen if the opponent Special Summons from the Deck or Extra Deck. However, users of this card must be careful using this alongside the aforementioned card. Enough Special Summons can result in an unexpected Deck Out!
Nibiru, the Primal Being
Nibiru, the Primal Being A standard Mekk-Knight Deck, especially if the user decides to Link Climb, can go beyond 5 summons in a single turn. A well-timed Nibiru, the Primal Being can deny the summon of their own boss monsters, or just rid the field off of fodder for other summons.
