| Kashtira Engine | |
|---|---|
The Kashtira Engine primarily contains multilpe Level 7 monsters, and are very flexible with their positioning. Kashtira Fenrir and Kashtira Unicorn can be Special Summoned from the hand if the user does not control any other cards on the field. The latter, Unicorn, can search out Kashtira Birth, which can let players Summon Level 7 monsters without tribute. |
| Fiendsmith Engine | |
The Fiendsmith Engine is the Deck Engine to run, due to the fact that it takes so few cards to be effective, and it does not even make use of a single Normal Summon. It also does not lock out any player from using other cards, allowing them to be used at any point during a combo. It can either end with two Level 6 Fiend-type monsters for a Rank 6 Xyz play, or a Fiendsmith's Desirae with a two-card omni-negate Quick Effect. |
| Red-Eyes Soul | |
Red-Eyes Soul becomes Red-Eyes Black Dragon while on the field or in the GY. This card can Special Summon itself in response to the opponent conducting a Special Summon themselves, and once per Duel this card can inflict burn damage equal to a Red-Eyes Black Dragon's you control. |
| Red-Eyes Slash Dragon | |
To be able to Fusion Summon Red-Eyes Slash Dragon, players will have to slot in Warrior-type monsters in the Deck and change up the strategy. Still, this is a powerful boss monster that gets stronger with each Equip Card attached to this card. While having cards equipped, it also earns a negate effect to counter targeting effects. |
| Spirit with Eyes of Blue | |
Spirit with Eyes of Blue might not be part of the Red-Eyes archetype, but a small Blue-Eyes engine can actually synergize well. After all, Blue-Eyes also makes use of the Primite cards very well, and it manages to be its own standalone Deck. |
| Primite Roar | |
While Primite Drillbeam is the more potent Spell Card to utilize in the Primite Engine, players can opt to add in Primite Roar as a secondary option. This card provides battle destruction immunity, and a free Special Summon if the user controls no monsters. Lastly, it has a GY effect that counters the opponent's Normal Summon. |

With Red-Eyes and Primite being primarily Dragon-type, this shares the same weakness as the Blue-Eyes variant: Branded Despia has Fallen of Albaz. Just by setting it, it's already fulfilling conditions to whisk away every Dragon-type monster on the field to be used to summon Alba-Lenatus the Abyss Dragon.
It also doesn't help that Branded Despia can also make use of Bystial monsters, which can banish LIGHT and/or DARK monsters from the GY to Special Summon themselves. This includes "Red-Eyes Black Dragon" and its different variants.

What better way to mess with a versatile Deck like Primite Red-Eyes than with multiple interruptions and floodgates to prevent them from getting into strategy options? Anti-Meta Stun Decks are still viable even with the meta, and thrives when they can get to set up before the opponent can play.
Cards like Evenly Matched and Raigeki can clear out the field of pesky cards, while Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo and Inspector Boarder can bottleneck the oppoenent from Special Sumoning or activating effects.

Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon can easily be seen as the most consistent Dragon-type Deck, with Blue-Eyes having tendencies to brick even while having Primite onboard. Meanwhile, this Deck can easily summon multiple Level 8 Dragon-type monsters to go into Rank 8 Xyz monsters with powerful effects.
On top of that, this Deck happens to utilize the strongest Counter Trap in the entire game: Tachyon Transmigration. While having a "Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon" monster on the field, this Trap Card can even be activated from the hand.
Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Deck Guide

Despite the arrival of the Primite cards, Fiendsmith Snake-Eyes Azamina is still the single best Deck to run in Ranked Duels. There are way too many options to pivot between the three archetypes, and they just so happen to remain unscathed during the most recent banlist update last April 10th.
Combo lines are very flexible here. The Fiendsmith Engine needs no introduction, as one Fiendsmith's Tract can lead into having Fiendsmith's Desirae, D/D/D Wave High King Caesar or Apollousa, Bow of the Goddess on the field. And that's just the Fiendsmith combo; what more with Snake-Eyes finishing on Salamangreat Raging Phoenix, or Azamina having Azamina Moa Regina and Azamina Mu Rcielago.

| Droll & Lock Bird | |
|---|---|
A couple of effects from both Primite and Red-Eyes are adding cards to the hand to be used as soon as possible. After the first search, Droll & Lock Bird can deny all other additions to the hand for the rest of the turn, and this can mess up potential for Red-Eyes. |
| Skill Drain | |
While Primite and Red-Eyes make use of Normal Monsters, most of the heavy hitters and crucial boss monsters are Effect Monsters. Skill Drain, should it resolve successfully, will deny those monsters on the field a chance to use their effects. |
| Nibiru, the Primal Being | |
A standard Red-Eyes combo alongside Primite can easily go beyond 5 summons in a single turn, which is perfect for Nibiru, the Primal Being to take advantage. So long as there is an effect that does not negate this monster's resolution, this card can wipe out a board that's still being made. |
| Super Polymerization | |
Decks that run Super Polymerization are dangerous against Red-Eyes, with boss monsters like Khaos Starsource Dragon, Predaplant Dragostapelia, and Starving Venom Fusion Dragon all being viable options. |
