Cyberdark Deck Guide: How to Play

Playstyle and Win Condition

Cyberdark Decks mostly focus on an Aggro with a bit of Control playstyle.

The Cyberdark Archetype's main draw is it's consistent ability to quickly and constantly summon Cyberdark monsters with high ATK, each with their own Trigger Effect to equip lower leveled Dragon Monsters from the GY, gaining ATK equal to the equipped Monster.

With this, there's no denying that Cyberdark is the deck to use if you want to quickly Summon materials to Fusion Summon your hard hitting monsters, notably the Cyberdark End Dragon with its 5000 ATK.

Sample Combo

Required Cards
Cyber Dragon Core Cyberdark Claw Overload Fusion
Step Description
Discard Cyberdark Claw from Hand → Search for Cyberdark Realm from the Deck and send it to the Hand.
Normal Summon Cyber Dragon Core → Search for Cybernetic Horizon from the Deck and send to your Hand.
Activate Cyberdark Realm → Search for Cyberdark Cannon from the Deck and send to your Hand.
Activate Cyberdark Cannon's Effect from the hand → Discard Cyberdark Cannon and Search for Cyberdark Horn from the Deck and send it to the Hand.
Activate Cybernetic Horizon → Target Cyberdark Horn from the hand, Cyber Dragon Core in the Deck, and Search for Cyberdark Chimera from the Deck and send to your Hand → Target Cyber End Dragon from the Extra Deck and send it to the GY.
Activate Cyberdark Realm → Special Summon Cyberdark Chimera from the Hand.
Link Summon Union Carrier using both the Cyber Dragon Core and Cyberdark Chimera on the Field.
Activate Cyberdark Chimera's effect from the GY and target Cyberdark Keel from the Deck and send it to the GY.
Activate Overload Fusion and Fusion Summon Cyberdarkness Dragon Tributing the Monsters in the GY.
Activate Cyberdarkness Dragon's Effect to Equip the Cyber End Dragon from the GY to itself.
Fusion Summon Cyberdark End Dragon by Tributing Cyberdarkness Dragon and the Equipped Cyber End Dragon. → Activate Cyberdark End Dragon's Effect and Equip Cyber End Dragon to it.
Activate Union Carrier's Effect and Equip Dragon Buster Destruction Sword to Cyberdark End Dragon from either Deck or Hand -> This basically locks your opponent from Special Summoning from their Extra Deck.

This Combo pretty much leaves you with a 6000 ATK Cyberdark End Dragon on the field with an Equipped Card that it can use as fodder for a Negate.

What makes this Card powerful is that once per turn, you can Target any Monster in either player's GY and equip it to Cyberdark End Dragon. This applies to Dark Magicians, Blue Eyes White Dragons, Eldlich the Golden Lords or any other strong Monsters that hide in the GY. And yes, this applies to Destiny HERO - Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer as well.

For any pesky Monsters on the field, you can easily use them as Tribute for your Jizukiru, the Star Destroying Kaiju making them an easy target for your Cyberdark End Dragon to Equip.

Alternately, you don't have to Fusion Summon Cyberdark End Dragon and keep your 8000ATK Cyberdarkness Dragon with Cyber End Dragon Equipped to it. You can activate Union Carrier and Equip Dragon Buster Destruction Sword to your Cyberdarkness Dragon effectively locking your opponent out from their Extra Deck and gaining another 1000ATK, leaving you with a 9000ATK Monster ready and waiting to wreck some havoc.
