New Fire King Support Cards are actually really good, and has synergy with Snake-Eyes New Fire King Card allows the Xyz Summon of a monster during the opponent's turn Had very few counters against it in TCG/OCG, so players might have other options in Master Duel's format

Work in Progress - Information Available Soon |
---|
There's a reason Snake-Eyes Ash is currently limited--only one copy of this card is enough to get full combo in a Snake-Eyes Deck, and even more so in a Fire King Snake-Eyes variant.
This ends in a flexible board that becomes interactive during the opponent's turn, thanks in part to Snake-Eyes Flamberge Dragon and I:P Masquerena.
Cards on Hand | |
---|---|
Step | Description |
Optional | If you do not have Snake-Eye Ash on hand but do have Bonfire, use the Spell Card to search out the monster.. |
1 | Normal Summon Snake-Eye Ash. Then, activate its on-summon effect; search out a copy of Snake-Eyes Poplar to add to the hand. Upon adding to the hand, use its effect and Special Summon it onto the field. |
2 | Upon being Special Summoned, trigger the effect of Snake-Eyes Poplar; search out Original Sinful Spoils - Snake-Eye to add to the hand. Then, use Poplar as material to Link Summon Linkuriboh. When sent to the GY, its effect triggers; place it on one of the Spell/Trap Zones. |
3 | Activate the effect of Snake-Eye Ash; send itself and Snake-Eyes Poplar in the GY to Special Summon Snake-Eye Oak from the Deck. Upon being Summoned, activate its effect; target Snake-Eyes Poplar to Special Summon back onto the field. |
4 | Activate the effect of Snake-Eye Oak; send itself and Linkuriboh to the GY to Special Summon Snake-Eyes Flamberge Dragon. |
5 | Activate the effect of Original Sinful Spoils - Snake-Eye; send Snake-Eyes Poplar from the field to the GY, then Special Summon Legendary Fire King Ponix from the Deck. On summon, activate its effect; add Fire King Sanctuary from Deck to hand. Activate the Continuous Spell, which in turn places Fire King Island onto the Field Spell Zone. |
6 | Activate the first effect of Fire King Island; destroy Legendary Fire King Ponix to add Sacred Fire King Garunix to the hand. Because of how it was added to the hand, activate Garunix's effect; Special Summon it onto the Field. Then, activate its effect upon being Summoned: destroy Fire King Avatar Arvata from the Deck to send it to the GY. |
7 | Activate the effect of Fire King Avatar Arvata after being destroyed; target Legendary Fire King Ponix to be Special Summoned it to the field. |

8 | Using Legendary Fire King Ponix and Snake-Eyes Flamberge Dragon, Link Summon I:P Masquerena. Upon being sent to the GY, activate Flamberge Dragon's effect; Special Summon two Level 1 FIRE monsters from the GY. At this point, any one in the GY can work. |
---|---|
9 | Using I:P Masquerena and Sacred Fire King Garunix as material, Link Summon Promethean Princess, Bestower of Flames. Afterwards, activate its effect; Special Summon Snake-Eyes Flamerge Dragon back onto the field. |
10 | Activate the effect of Snake-Eyes Flamerge Dragon; place I:P Masquerena from the GY onto the Spell/Trap Zone. |
11 | Using Promethean Princess, Bestower of Flames and one of the Level 1 FIRE monsters summoned in Step 8 as materials, Link Summon Salamangreat Sunlight Wolf. |
12 | Activate Linkuriboh from the GY; send the last Level 1 FIRE monster on the field, then Special Summon the Link Monster back onto the field right under Salamangreat Sunlight Wolf's Link Marker. |
13 | With Linkuriboh being Summoned under its Link Marker, activate Salamangreat Sunlight Wolf; add back Legendary Fire King Ponix back to the hand from the GY. |
Optional | If you run a copy of Decode Talker Heatsoul, Link Summon it here using Salamangreat Sunlight Wolf and Linkuriboh as materials. |

Among the Decks that can mess with Fire King Snake-Eyes, it might have to be Floowandereeze with its effectiveness against aggressive Decks, especially once Floowandereeze & Empen hits the field and stops all effects of their opponent's monsters in ATK position.
They also have the option to run cards like Dimensional Fissure and Macro Cosmos which further denies the usage of the Graveyard.
Floowandereeze Deck List & Card Guide
It will be especially rough for this Deck if any Runick Deck manages to set up its board and get its Spell Card recursion going. Fire King Snake-Eyes cannot exactly have their crucial cards banished at any cost.
Cards particularly strong among the Runick Cards are Runick Smiting Storm Effect, Runick Dispelling andRunick Slumber

---|---|
Pure Runick | Spright Runick |
Ishizu Runick | Naturia Runick |
Umi Control, for as strong of a control they have on the field, are actually pretty easy to set up so long as it has Ocean Dragon Lord - Kairyu-Shin. Non-WATER monsters wil lbe weakened against his Deck, and against Fire King Snake-Eyes it is an especially harder match-up.
Umi Control Deck List & Card Guide
Any non-FIRE Barrier Statue | |
---|---|
Because this Deck is mostly comprised of FIRE monsters, any Barrier Statue that is not Inferno can shut down this Deck easily. | |
Dimension Shifter | |
Dimension Shifter can completely mess with this Deck's combos, as all of their cards would much rather be in the Graveyard or be banished. As a hand trap, unless the Fire King Snake-Eyes player has anything that can counter this, they cannot proplerly play the game for a least a game--and that's more than enough to win the Duel. | |
Evenly Matched | |
Yet another card that banishes cards instead of sending them to the GY, Evenly Matched will completley wipe this Deck's end field if they do not have any way to negate this Trap Card's activation. | |
Necrovalley | |
Necrovalley keeps all cards in the Graveyard locked there, and cannot be moved anywhere else unless it's a "Gravekeeper" or if the Field Spell is destroyed. This also affects the two archetypes of this Deck, with the number of Special Summon effects crucial for it to do its combos and Special Summons. |
