Core Combos and Interactions

Ojama Combo 1

Sample Cards on Hand
Ojama Black Ojama Pink Ojama Red Ojama Country Necro Fusion
Step Description
1 Activate Ojama Country, then Normal Summon Ojama Red.
Ojama Red triggers its effect, and it can Special Summon Ojama Pink and Ojama Black from the hand onto the field.
2 Using Ojama Red, Ojama Pink and Ojama Black as materials, Link Summon Ojama Emperor.
3 Upon being sent to the GY, trigger Ojama Pink's effect; draw 1 card, and discard 1 card from the hand to the GY. Do not discard Necro Fusion.
4 Set Necro Fusion, then pass the turn to the opponent.
On the opponent's turn, activate the Trap Card; banish any of the two Ojama Monsters to summon Ojama Knight.
5 Upon being Fusion Summoned, activate Ojama Knight's effect; target two of the opponent's unused Main Mosnter Zones; so long as this Fusion Mosnter is face-up on the field, those two zones are unusable.

Ojama Combo 2

Card(s) Needed on Hand
Ojama Red Ojama Yellow Ojama Duo Danger!? Jackalope? Ojama Trio
Step Description
1 Set both Ojama Duo and Ojama Trio .
2 Normal Summon Ojama Red.
Ojama Red triggers its effect, and it can Special Summon Ojama Yellow from the hand.
3 Activate Danger!? Jackalope? from the hand, and since it's the only card on hand, you must discard it to the GY.
This triggers its GY effect; Special Summon a Danger! monster from the Deck.
4 Using the Special Summoned Danger! monster and Ojama Yellow as material, Link Summon Spright Elf onto one of the Extra Monster Zones**.
5 Activate Spright Elfs effect; Special Summon Ojama Yellow from the Gy back onto the field.
6 Using the two Ojama monsters (Ojama Yellow and Ojama Red) as materials, Link Summon I:P Masquerena--ideally, onto one of the Main Monster Zones pointed to by Spright Elf.
7 Pass the turn to the opponent.
The first chance you get, activate both Ojama Duo and Ojama Trio in a single Effect Chain.
With their combined effects, all of their Monster Zones will be filled with Ojama Tokens.

Boss Monsters

Ojama Emperor
Ojama Emperor It might start at 0 ATK, but while Ojama Country is active on the field, Ojama Emperor gets a huge 3000 ATK boost, and becomes immune to card destruction effects. IT also reflects any battle damage the player would receive in battle back to the opponent.
Ojama King
Ojama King Ojama King is the original Ojama boss monster, but this card is more of a defensive player. Upon being Fusion Summoned, it locks down 3 unused Main Monster Zones from the opponent. So long as this Fusion Summoned mosnter is on the field, the opponent cannot use them.
Accesscode Talker
Accesscode Talker If the Ojama Deck needs to pivot into a stronger boss monster that can end the game, Accesscode Talker is the most reliable monster to fall back on. Depending on whether this monster used a Link Mosnter as material to be summoned, it can enjoy a big ATK increase, and can destroy cards on the field without a once-per-turn clause.
Starving Venom Fusion Dragon
Starving Venom Fusion Dragon With the prominence of DARK mosnters in the meta, Starving Venom Fusion Dragon is a crucial monster to be used in tandem with Super Polymerization. It can also enjoy an ATK boost upon being Fusion Summoned--depending if the opponent controls a Special Summoned monster Level 5 and above.

Ojama Control Counters: How to Beat

Best Decks to Use Against Ojama Control

Deck Tier List.png

With how fast-paced the Master Duel meta is at the moment, do not be surprised to find that most of the Decks in our Tier List can actually beat this Deck.

Winning with this Deck is a combination of luck of having the right cards, and the opponent not getting theirs immediately. Though, a couple of special mentions from the lower tiers can work here.

Best Decks Meta Tier List

Buster Blader

Master Duel - Buster Blader Banner

Buster Blader has this trait where it can change the monster type of those on the field to Dragons, and when the Buster Blader Fusion Monsters attack them, they are nigh unstoppable. Even for a Deck that controls the Main Monster Zones, this can become a potential danger.
Buster Blader Deck List & Card Guide

Ghoti

Master Duel - Ghoti Banner

Ghoti is a tricky monster to deal with because of the way their Deck plays--favoring having their monsters be banished, and then being Special Sumoned the next turn to Synchro Summon via Quick Effect. If the Ojama Deck can fill up the Monster Zones before Ghoti can Synchro Summon with a Tuner, it can have a fighting chance.

Ghoti Deck List & Card Guide

Hungry Burger Nouvelles

Master Duel - Hungry Burger Nouvelles Banner.png

Hungry Burger Nouvelles has quite a unique playstyle for thim as well, being able to repeatedly Ritual Summon to get into their monsters with negates and tributes that can stop any Ojama play from happening.

Generaider

Master Duel - Generaiders Banner.png

Why bother try filling up their Monster Zones if they can do it themselves? Generaiders are notorious for this for using Tokens as tribute fodder to activate negation effects among others. Their Field Spell is crucial for this playstyle, thus making it its weakpoint, but it can be quite hard target while the Deck does not have dedicated Spell/Trap removal.

Best Cards to Tech Against Ojama Control

Nibiru, the Primal Being
Nibiru, the Primal Being Most likely, if the Ojama Deck can manage to go for a combo, there's going to be at least 5 summons in total. Nibiru, the Primal Being will automatically punish any attempts to set up like that without having negates at the ready.
Droll & Lock Bird
Droll & Lock Bird The Deck is reliant on searching and drawing cards to get crucial cards to set up their plays. Droll & Lock Bird will stop any further card advantage for the players to get.
Super Polymerization
Super Polymerization Most of the monsters in this Ojama Deck are either LIGHT or DARK monsters; for certain Fusion-centric match-ups, the Ojamas can also be prime targets for Super Polymerization. Even worse, this Quick-Play Spell cannot be negated.
Dimensional Barrier
Dimensional Barrier If the opponent plays a Trap-centric Deck and sniffs out this Deck can potentially Fusion Summon or Link summon, they are most likely using Dimensional Barrier against Ojamas, especially as a response against anything other than Super Polymerizationp.
Kashtira Arise-Heart
Kashtira Arise-Heart Kashtira Arise-Heart with its effect of banishing cards sent to the GY while active can mess up any plans done by the Ojama Deck. Similar cards like Dimensional Fissure and Macro Cosmos can act as a stand-in for this Extra Deck monster. Even worse, it can also banish cards face-down once per turn.
Dark Hole
Dark Hole Ojama relies on filling up the opponent's Monster Zones either by filling them with tokens, or making them unsuable via the effects of the "Ojama" Fusion Monsters. Dark Hole can wipe them all out on both sides of the field in one fell swoop.
