Use Card Effects for Special Summons

The Loaner Deck that players can use throughout the Gate contains mostly "Gladiator" type Monster Cards. These cards, if they survive an engagement during the Battle Phase, can be returned to the player's Deck (so long as they are involved in battle) and be used to Special Summon higher level and higher stat cards to the field.

From the options available, Gladitor Beasts Domitianus, Heraklinos, and Nerokius are the best to summon due to their high stats that can easily bleed through an opponent's cards and Life Points.

Use Gladiator Naumchia Trap Card

Oftentimes throughout the chapters, the opponent will be able to boost their stats just as you trigger an attack against one of their cards. This results in them being able to absorb much of the attack, or completely negate it and destroy your own attacking card.

Players who are looking for a boost of their own stats to do the same thing against their opponent, or to simply overpower their opponent completely, can make use of Gladiator Naumachia to boost their stats by shuffling one of their cards back to the Deck.
