How Many of Each Card Can You Have?

Unlimited Copies are Available in Your Inventory

You can have as many copies of cards in your inventory. This allows you to construct decks with multiple copies, which is effective for certain types of decks.

Varies from Ban List for your Deck

Unlimited Despite the word unlimited, you may only put three copies of the same card in your deck.
Semi-Limited Only 2 copies of a card is allowed in your deck.
Limited Only 1 copy of a card is allowed in your deck.
Banned Cannot be included in your deck.

How Many Cards Can You Put in Your Deck?

60 Cards For the Main Deck

Players can have a maximum of 60 cards in a deck.This means you can construct decks that have multiple copies of the same card. However, having the maximum number of cards can make it challenging to draw for cards you need in a duel.

Main Deck Must at Least Have 40 Cards

A Main Deck must have a minimum of 40 cards in order to be playable in any type of duel. Having 40 cards in your main deck is also very effective in most kinds of duels, although adding a handful of other cards is also a good step.

15 Cards For the Extra Deck

Your Extra Deck is where your Fusion, Link, and Xyz Monster Cards are located. You can have a maximum of 15 cards in this deck, allowing you have a good lineup of cards to summon during a duel.
