You can have as many copies of cards in your inventory. This allows you to construct decks with multiple copies, which is effective for certain types of decks.
| Unlimited | Despite the word unlimited, you may only put three copies of the same card in your deck. |
|---|---|
| Semi-Limited | Only 2 copies of a card is allowed in your deck. |
| Limited | Only 1 copy of a card is allowed in your deck. |
| Banned | Cannot be included in your deck. |
Players can have a maximum of 60 cards in a deck. This means you can construct decks that have multiple copies of the same card. However, having the maximum number of cards can make it challenging to draw for cards you need in a duel.
A Main Deck must have a minimum of 40 cards in order to be playable in any type of duel. Having 40 cards in your main deck is also very effective in most kinds of duels, although adding a handful of other cards is also a good step.
Your Extra Deck is where your Fusion, Link, and Xyz Monster Cards are located. You can have a maximum of 15 cards in this deck, allowing you have a good lineup of cards to summon during a duel.
