How to Get and Use Orbs

Orbs are in-game items that are used to unlock chapters in Solo play for Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel. Read on to learn how they are used, and how to earn them to continue your epic duels!

Compete in Duels on Solo

The only means of earning Orbs throughout the game is by playing through Solo Duels. Each Gate in Solo contains at least two or more Duels that a player can participate in, the common rewards of which are Orbs.

Orb Types

There are 6 primary types of Orbs that can be earned through the Solo duels, which are spread out across different Gates and Chapters in Solo Mode. The types of Orbs rewarded to the player for accomplishing a duel in a Gate will change from Gate to Gate, along with how much is afforded to each player per victory.

In order to farm adequate amounts of Orbs to unlock Chapters in Gates later on, players will need to target the Chapters that reward them with Orbs for their duels.

What Are Orbs Used For?

Used to Unlock Locked Chapters in Solo

Throughout a player's Solo experience, they will come across several locked chapters (usualy Side Chapters in a particular Gate). These side chapters will often require the player to unlock them with the use of Orbs – the type of Orb required for a chapter depends on the given requirements.

Once enough Orbs have been gained, players can simply unlock the chapter they're after to continue playing.
