Dragonmaid Deck Guide: How to Play

The Deck will be receiving a revamp in the near future. Please look forward to a new in-depth section!

Playstyle and Win Condition

Dragonmaid Decks aren't unstoppable by any means. However, what makes it fun is that it has a way of snowballing resources making it tough to keep up with.

This makes Dragonmaid Decks a decent anti-midrange deck.

The key with Dragonmaid Decks is to completely overwhelm your opponent by continuously reviving your Monster Cards. Using card effects between turns and standby phases making it hard for your opponent to catch up.

Just continue your combos and attacks until you decrease their LP to 0.

Starting the Duel

Normal Summon Kitchen Dragonmaid onto the field and activate its effect to send Dragonmaid Tidying to the GY. Banish it afterwards, and Special Summon Chamber Dragonmaid.

Then, activate Chamber Dragonmaid's effect to get Dragonmaid Hospitality from the deck. Using both Kitchen Dragonmaid and Chamber Dragonmaid as materials, Link Summon Hieratic Seal of the Heavenly Spheres

Now, you will have the ability to put back a face-up card from the field to the hand by tributing one of your cards, as well as being able to Special Summon a Dragonmaid Monster from either your Hand or GY.

Optimal First Turn

Similar to the steps above, summon Kitchen Dragonmaid onto the field and activate its effect to send Dragonmaid Tidying to the GY. Banish Dragonmaid Tidying and Special Summon Chamber Dragonmaid.

Now, use Chamber Dragonmaid's effect to search for Dragonmaid Changeover and use it to Fusion Summon Dragonmaid Sheou using Parlor Dragonmaid and Dragonmaid Tinkhec.

The Standby Phase

During your opponent's Standby Phase, revive Kitchen Dragonmaid using Dragonmaid Sheou, and send another Dragonmaid Tidying to the GY.

This will provide you with an Omni-Negate on the field care of Dragonmaid Sheou's effect, as well as having a back-up revive in your GY thanks to the Dragonmaid Tidying laying in wait.

The Pre-Battle Phase

Just before the Battle Phase begins, you'll want to use Hieratic Seal of the Heavenly Spheres to return one face-up monster your opponent has on the field back to their hand, tributing itself. Then, use it's additional effect to Special Summon one Nurse Dragonmaid from your hand or Deck.

Now, using Nurse Dragonmaid's effect, Special Summon another Dragonmaid Monster from your GY back onto the field.

After you resolved all the revived Dragonmaid Monsters' on-summon effects, activate their start-of-Battle-Phase effects returning all of them to your hand for their Level 7 counterparts in the GY..

The Battle Phase

With your field populated with Level 7 Dragonmaid Monsters, you should have a pretty strong set of monsters to either Attack or Defend during the Battle Phase.

You will now also have a number of Dragonmaid Monsters you can re-summon as a follow-up on your turn.

Reviving Using World Legacy Guardragon

Normal Summon any Dragonmaid monster onto the field and use their effect if any.

Then, using that Dragonmaid Monster on the field, Link Summon Salamangreat Almiraj and place it on the left Extra Monster Zone, making one of its Link Markers point to the center of your Active Field.

Using World Legacy Guardragon, revive the initial Dragonmaid Monster and use it to Link Summon Guardragon Pisty onto the field. Using World Legacy Guardragon's other effect, move it to the spot beneath Salamangreat Almiraj.

Now, you can use Guardragon Pisty's effect to Special Summon any Dragon Monsters which were either Banished or in the GY.

Awful. The author clearly doesn't understand the cards he's using, much less the deck he's trying to build. Kitchen Dragonmaid doesn't send Tidying to the GY. It doesn't touch spells/traps.

"Normal Summon Kitchen Dragonmaid onto the field and activate its effect to send Dragonmaid Tidying to the GY." How does Kitchen send Tidying to grave? Kitchen effect only works on monsters. Did you mean Parlor?
