Master Duel December 2025 Tryout Duels

Ringing in the new year 2026 for Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel are three back-to-back-to-back Tryout Duels, with all three having different rules and formats! Check out the details of each one, as well as possible rewards here!

December 2025 Tryout Duel Event Information

For the following versions of the Tryout Duels, there are three different dates slated for each of the mini-events, with each one having special rules imposed during Duels!

Tryout Duel Event No. 1: 30 Seconds

Round 1 of the Tryout Duel event has players participate in Duels where the time limit is set to only thirty seconds. There is no time to second guess moves with the timer being so short!

Tryout Duel Event No. 2: 2026 LP

Master Duel - Tryout Duels - 2026 LP

Round 2 of the Tryout Duel event celebrates the incoming new year in a challenging way, as this forces both players to start a Duel with only 2026 Life Points. A single attack may very well end the Duel quickly!

Round 3 of the Tryout Duels has a brand new format similar to the N/R Rarity format, where only cards with the rarity SR and below are allowed in Decks!

December 2025 Tryout Duel Event Rewards

Like in previous iterations of he Tryout Duels event, players have to win three Duels to win a free Card Pack from the most recent Card Pack.

The important thing to note is that the wins do not have to be one after another; accumulating a number of wins is the key to getting the rewards.
