CheckmarkKaijus are notorious for tribuitng the opponent's monsters to Special Summon themselves on their side

CheckmarkMost of the Kaijus have very beefy stats, and can be Special Summoned if there is a Kaiju on the opponent's field

Boss Monsters

Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss
Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss can target a monster on the field to negate its effects as a Quick Effect. It can also Special Summon a Tuner from the GY if it manages to inflit Battle Damage, opening up plays for different Extra Deck monsters.
Baronne de Fleur
Baronne de Fleur Always a classic option if a Deck can run Synchro Mosnters in the Extra Deck, Baronne de Fleur proves to be invaluable when adding Synchro Monsters. An omni-negate, card destruction, and Special Summon effect all in one monster makes it a game-change as soon as it is summoned onto the Field..
Kashtira Arise-Heart
Kashtira Arise-Heart There are a number of Level 7 Kaiju monsters able to be summoned, which means they can be used as materials for Kashtira Arise-Heart. So long as this card is face-up and active, all cards sent to the GY are banished instead; and every time a card is banished, it can absorb one of them as material.
Dingirsu, the Orcust of the Evening Star
Dingirsu, the Orcust of the Evening Star Dingirsu, the Orcust of the Evening Star is a little harder to destroy from the field due to its effect, and on top of that it can send a card the opponent controls to the GY upon being Special Summoned.
Number 38: Hope Harbinger Dragon Titanic Galaxy
Number 38: Hope Harbinger Dragon Titanic Galaxy Number 38: Hope Harbinger Dragon Titanic Galaxy acts like a taunter, able to redirect any declared attacks to itself. It can also negate any Spell Cards activated as a Quick Effect, and then immediately absrob it as material afterwards.

Kaiju Counters: How to Beat

Best Decks to Use Against Kaiju

Snake-Eye Diabellstar

Master Duel - Snake-Eyes

As of writing, Snake-Eye Diabellstar might just be the strongest Deck in the current meta, with its multiple effects triggering any time one of their monsters is sent to the GY. They can even turn certain monsters into Continuous Spells/Traps, rendering them useless unless they are taken off the Spell/Trap Zone.

Snake-Eye Deck List & Card Guide

Mikanko

Master Duel - Mikanko Ritual

The last thing you want is a "Mikanko" monster or two equipped with Equip Spells, being able to attack a monster you control with high ATK. You can out-Kaiju a Mikanko Deck, but whoever gets to go first wil be crucial for victory.

Mikanko Deck List & Card Guide

Tearlaments

Master Duel - Ishizu Tearlaments

Tearlaments likes sending their cards to the GY. Kaiju players will be putting them at an advantage even if their monsters get Kaiju'd. Unless big attacks can land before they can take advantage, this Fusion-centric Deck can easily overwhelm the game.

Best Cards to Tech Against Kaiju

Maxx "C"
Maxx "C" Upon activating Maxx "C", the user draws a card for every Special Summon conducted by the opponent. This actually counts the Kaiju user Special Summoning a Kaiju onto the other's side of the field. This makes Special Summons very risky, which unfortunately this Deck absolutely needs.
Summon Limit
Summon Limit A Kaiju Deck can steamroll with numerous Special Summons once they have the momentum. Summon Limit bottlenecks both players into only conducting two summons per turn. Though Kaijus could use this to their advantage, if going for more aggressive combos this card has to be removed from the field first.
Promethean Princess, Bestower of Flames
Promethean Princess, Bestower of Flames Promethean Princess, Bestower of Flames and its targeted card destruction effect can be very dangerous to deal with. All other cards with targeted card destruction effect is effective against this Deck, however this card gets special mention due to its association with Snake-Eye.
Sinful Spoils of Subversion - Snake-Eye
Sinful Spoils of Subversion - Snake-Eye Turning Monster Cards on the field into a Continuous Spell or Trap is a very rare effect, yet with the introduction of Snake-Eye, this could become a splashable effect even outside the Snake-Eye Deck. Be prepared to deal with a random Deck that could use Sinful Spoils of Subversion - Snake-Eye.
