Relinquished Deck Guide: How to Play

Relinquished, as an archetype is a control-based archetype. It's main gimmick is locking your opponent out from taking any actions -- Thousand-Eyes Restrict locks your opponent out from attacking, while Millennium-Eyes Restrict acts as a negate. These monsters can also take your opponent's monsters and equip them to themselves, adding the equipped monsters' ATK & DEF to their own.

Sometimes, with 2 or 3 cards, you can break off into a long combo that can leave you a field with an Millennium-Eyes Restrict, and a 5300 ATK Accesscode Talker and with Super Polymerization in the deck, you also have the option of bringing out either a Mudragon of the Swamp or a Starving Venom Fusion Dragon for added measure.

①	Normal Summon Tour Guide from the Underworld → Activate Tour Guide's Effect and Special Summon Sangan.
②	Activate Pre-Preparation of Rites → Search for both Relinquished and Black Illusion Ritual and send to the hand.
③	Activate Black Illusion Ritual and Ritual Summon Relinquished by tributing a random monster in your hand → Activate Relinquished's effect and equip an opponent's monster to this card to take it out of comission.
④	Link Summon Salamangreat Almiraj using the Sangan on the field → Activate Salamangreat Almiraj's Effect and search for Crusadia Arboria and add to the hand.
⑤	Special Summon Crusadia Arboria by activating it's Effect from the Hand to the spot where Salamangreat Almiraj is pointing to.
⑥	Link Summon Crystron Halqifibrax using Salamangreat Almiraj and Crusadia Arboria → Activate Crystron Halqifibrax's effect and Special Summon Effect Veiler onto the field.
⑦	Activate Relinquished Fusion and Fusion Summon Millennium-Eyes Restrict by banishing the Relinquished on the field, as well as the Salamangreat Almiraj in the GY.
⑧	Link Summon Selene, Queen of the Master Magicians by using both Crystron Halqifibrax and Effect Veiler → Activate Selene, Queen of the Master Magicians Effect and Special Summon Effect Veiler from the GY.
⑨	Link Summon Accesscode Talker by using both Selene, Queen of the Master Magicians and Effect Veiler → Activate Accesscode Talker's Effect and equip Selene, Queen of the Master Magicians to it, giving it an additional 3000 ATK.

This combo leaves you with a pretty strong board with Millennium-Eyes Restrict that can negate and equip any of your opponent's monsters that activates their effect, potentially ruining their combos, as well as a 5300 ATK Accesscode Talker.

It isn't an OTK combo by any means but it'll definitely give your opponent a hard time to get passed both the Millennium-Eyes Restrict and Accesscode Talker.

For added ATK Power, you have the Super Polymerization to bring out either Mudragon of the Swamp and/or Starving Venom Fusion Dragon.

Plus, with three copies of Jizukiru, the Star Destroying Kaiju, you can Special Summon them to your opponent's Field giving your other copies of Relinquished targets to equip to gain 3300 ATK & 2600 DEF each.

The key to beating Relinquished Decks is negating & interrupting their Summons & Spell Card activations.

Going with a deck similar to the Drytron Fairy Control Deck that can control the flow of the Duel may turn things to your favor!

Best Cards to Tech Against Relinquished

	Contact "C"
	Contact "C" pretty much locks your opponent's Relinquished Deck by stopping them from Fusion & Link Summoning, unless they use it as Material.
	PSY-Framegear Gamma
	A hand trap that can be used to negate the effects of your opponent's Relinquished Deck especially when used against cards like Thousand-Eyes Restrict or other similar cards, destroying them in the process.
	Prohibition
	Using Prohibition and naming cards like Millennium-Eyes Restrict, Thousand-Eyes Restict, or Relinquished Anima will pretty much lock your opponent's Relinquished Deck from being able to perform as it should. Just make sure to use it as soon as you know that your opponent is using a Relinquished Deck before they can bring out any of these cards.
	Effect Veiler
	Another hand trap like PSY-Framegear Gamma that can be used against cards like Thousand-Eyes Restrict or Relinquished.
	Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring
	This card can be quickly used to cancel specific effects that are at the core of Relinquished decks by discarding this card.

Limit Summons

This Relinquished Deck relies on searches and chaining summons to use for both Fusion and Link Summons to create a nearly impregnable board early in the game.

Using a combination of spells and traps to interrupt your opponent will quickly put the duel in your favor.
