The Loander Deck for this Gate is meant to teach players about the Pendulum, and as such most cards in the Deck will consist mostly of Pendulum monster cards. While using any of the cards available is a viable method of getting powerful cards to the field, abusing the very first combination of cards the Gates gives you as a tutorial for Pendulum summoning on this Deck can already summon powerful cards to the field.

Simply summon them whenever you can before attacking each time to reduce the opponent's Life Points or to simply get the opponent's own powerful cards out of the way.
