Boss Monsters

Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon
Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon is the key monster this entire Deck revolves around. Its effect can negate all other monsters on the field at the start of the Battle Phase, disabling any effects that can be triggered. This is crucial, as the number of effects negated through this effect boosts this monster's ATK, and provides a second attack during the Battle PHase.
Number 38: Hope Harbinger Dragon Titanic Galaxy
Number 38: Hope Harbinger Dragon Titanic Galaxy Number 38: Hope Harbinger Dragon Titanic Galaxy acts as a shield for the Deck's boss monsters. It has a once-per-turn negate against Spell Cards, and whatever it negates gets taken into itself as material. Then, it can redirect attacks targeted to ally monsters to itself.
Number 100: Numeron Dragon
Number 100: Numeron Dragon A game-ender all by itself, with the help of Number 97: Draglubion, this monster can end games all on its own right. Number 100: Numeron Dragon gains ATK based on the total amount of Ranks from Xyz Monsters on the field, and more often than not this mosnter can go for OTK attempts.
Number C62: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon
Number C62: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon An evolution of one of the Xyz Monsters in this Deck, Number C62: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon can launch up to three attacks in a single Battle Phase. If it ends up using Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon as material, this monster also becomes immune to the opponent's monster effects, and further boosts its ATK depending on the combined Ranks of all Xyz Monsters on the field.

Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Counters: How to Beat

Best Decks to Use Against Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon

Buster Blader

Buster Blader

For all Dragon-centric Decks, Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon included, Buster Blader is the worst matchup to go up against, especially if they managed to get to first.

Setting up Buster Dragon and Buster Blader, The Dragon Destroyer Swordsman just shuts down any and all attempts to make use of the boss monsters.

Buster Blader Deck List

Fiendsmith Snake-Eyes Azamina

Fiendsmith Snake-Eyes Azamina

The current best Deck of the format (as of writing), Fiendsmith Snake-Eyes Azamina has too many options to consider, even past interruptions such as Ash Blossom and Infinite Impermanence.

They can start with the Fiendsmith combo, then suddenly pivot into Snake-Eyes. If that gets interrupted, they can easily make use of Azamina cards to get crucial monsters on the field as soon as possible.

Fiendsmith Snake-Eyes Deck List

Tenpai Dragon

Tenpai Dragon

Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon may play like an Xyz version of Tenpai Dragon, but in terms of efficiency, the original Best Deck to go second still clears.

The thing that this Deck lacks compared to Tenpai Dragon are the sizeable amount of board clearers like Raigeki, Harpie's Feather Duster and Lightning Storm. Once the coast is clear, all it takes is one Sangan Summoning and Sangen Kaimen to end the game.

Best Cards to Tech Against Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon

Fallen of Albaz & Alba-Lenatus the Abyss Dragon
Fallen of Albaz Alba-Lenatus the Abyss Dragon Much like the same reason in the Blue-Eyes White Dragon Deck Guide, Fallen of Albaz is an unorthodox counter to use against Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon and its bevy of Dragon-type boss monsters, yet it is also one of the best. Even just by setting the monster, this fulfills the condition to make use of itself and all other Dragon monsters on the field to be tributed without warning to bring out Alba-Lenatus the Abyss Dragon. Most importantly, it both bypasses and denies the threat of Tachyon Transmigration completely.
Lava Golem & Kaijus
Lava Golem Gameciel, the Sea Turtle Kaiju A standard Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon combo can often end in two or more Dragons, one of which being Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon itself. This is especially crucial since a Tachyon monster needs to be on the field to be able to use Tachyon Transmigration. So whisk them away to the GY with the help of Lava Golem and other Kaijus available like Gameciel and Gadarla.
Super Polymerization
Super Polymerization Super Polymerization has a part of its effect that makes sure the opponent cannot respond to this card's activation. This also means Tachyon Transmigration cannot be activated in response ot this Quick-Play Spell Card, and that also means the boss monsters of this Deck are in danger of becoming Fusion Material.
Maxx "C" and Mulcharmy Fuwalos
Maxx "C" Mulcharmy Fuwalos Schwarzschild Infinity Dragon may be a one-card combo starter, but if they do not open up with a hand trap to counter either Maxx "C" or Mulcharmy Fuwalos, that is an immediate card advantage. Worst case scenario for the Tachyon player: both cards are activated, and that immediately becomes a +4 card advantage.
