Infernity Breakdown

Alternate Cards for Infernity

Infernity Pawn
Infernity Pawn Infernity Pawn's role is to set up future plays. Its effect can replace the Draw Phase with one of two options: place an "Infernity" card on top of the Deck, or Set a "Void" Spell/Trap directly. This only can happen if you have no cards on hand when your Draw Phase begins.
Hundred Eyes Dragon
Hundred Eyes Dragon Hundred Eyes Dragon can banish a Level 6 or lower DARK Effect monster, and for the rest of the turn this Synchro Monster takes on the name and effect of the banished monster. There is a lingering effect to retrieve an "Earthbound Immortal" monster when this card is destroyed, but you'd have to run at least one in the Main Deck.
Number 60: Dugares the Timeless
Number 60: Dugares the Timeless Number 60: Dugares the Timeless is often used as a combo extender for its draw effect. Doing so means the play is intend to get into a game state that the opponent cannot recover from--which is common for this Deck's full combo. It can also either boost the ATK of a monster, or Special Summon a monster from the GY. All three effect options have a significant drawback, so choose wisely.
Mereologic Aggregator
Mereologic Aggregator Another option for a Rank 9 Xyz Monster, Mereologic Aggregator has quite some options to consider. On summon, it can send a card from the Extra Deck to the GY. It can take cards from the GY and turn it into material by detaching its own attached materials. If this card is sent to the GY, it can negate a card for the rest of the turn.
Allure of Darkness
Allure of Darkness Because of the plethora of DARK monsters in the Main Deck, Allure of Darkness is a good option to have for additional draw power. The drawback for not having a DARK monster on hand to banish also works in the player's favor, as it sends all the cards on hand to the GY. This sends good resources there, while going handless--exactly right where an "Infernity" player likes to be.
Forbidden Droplet
Forbidden Droplet Forbidden Droplet works by sending cards from the field or hand to the GY to negate the effects of the opponent's monsters on the field. This acts as a discard of sorts, allowing the "Infernity" player to go handless while negating the effects as a form of interruption. Depending on what cards were sent to the GY, the opponent cannot respond to this Quick-Play Spell with the same card type (Monster, Spell, Trap).

Boss Monsters

Infernity Doom Dragon
Infernity Doom Dragon At the cost of being able to attack for the turn, Infernity Doom Dragon can destroy a monster on the field, then deal burn damage equivalent of half of the ATK. The best part is that it only has a once-per-turn clause; if this card can be summoned again onto the field, it can activate its effect again.
Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier
Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier enables shenanigans that can automatically win the game: ripping a card at random from the opponent's hand before they can even play. The best part? It has no once-per-turn clause whatsoever; so long as this card is Synchro Summoned, this card can banish one card each from the hand, field and GY from the opponent's side.
Bystial Dis Pater
Bystial Dis Pater Bystial Dis Pater takes advantage of cards being banished, having the power to Special Summon a banished LIGHT or DARK monster to the user's side. It also has a negate if it can return a banished card and shuffle it to the oppoennt's Deck.
Worldsea Dragon Zealantis
Worldsea Dragon Zealantis Worldsea Dragon Zealantis is often used to reset a field, and the user gets to Special Summon back monsters it banished from both sides of the field however way it wants it. If this card has fellow Link Monsters co-linked to it, this card can destroy cards on the field for each co-link.

Infernity Counters: How to Beat

Best Decks to Use Against Infernity

Millennium

Millennium

Millennium feels like a slow Deck that does not do much, considering the main thread of the Deck is The Unstoppable Exodia Incarnate and its negation. However, there is also the Heart of Blue-Eyes that will activate from the GY and tribute a recently-summoned monster that is either Level 8 or has 3000 ATK.

A crucial part is that this card can play multiple banish effects like Dimensional Fissure or Macro Cosmos. On top that, there is also the danger of the player somehow getting all five pieces of Exodia for the instant win mechanic.

Millennium Deck List & Card Guide

Ghoti

Ghoti

Ghoti is heavily a Synchro-centric Deck, however it has a penchant for wanting cards to be banished, including themselves. It can play the various banishing floodgates, and in fact thrives in their effects.

Upon being banished, they can be summoned on the turn after. With the proper monsters on the field, this can conduct a Synchro Summon during the opponent's turn, and be very afraid once Ghoti of the Deep Beyond hits the field.

Ghoti Deck List & Card Guide

Exosisters

Exosisters

The Exosisters specialize in punishing Decks that move cards out of the Graveyard, and Infernity just so happens to be one such archetype. A usual "Exosister" monster can Xyz Summon with just one material as an effect if a card is moved out of the GY.

Exosister Mikailis and Exosisters Magnifica are the main cards to deal with thanks to their banishing effects. On top of that are further interruptions from the Trapcards Vadis and Returnia.

Exosister Deck List & Card Guide

Gravekeeper

Gravekeeper

The Gravekeepers are weaker in power compared to the other Decks mentioned above that can deal with Infernity, but this is in here for once crucial card: Necrovalley. The Gravekeepers can bypass the effect that usually lock down the GY that prevents cards from moving out of there.

On top of that, there are multiple cards from the archetype that take on the card's effect or put up the Field Spell on the field. The boss monster, Gravekeeper's Supernaturalist, provides further protection for the iconic Field Spell.

Best Cards to Tech Against Infernity

Dimension Shifter
Dimension Shifter The Infernity cards have a lot of effects that utilize the Graveyard as a secondary resource pool, often Special Summoning cards from there. As soon as the first effect to send a card there triggers, Dimension Shifter can ruin their plays for that turn and the next, banishing all cards that are meant to go to the GY.
Necrovalley
Necrovalley A lot of Control Decks have the option to run Necrovalley to lock down cards that are already in the GY. While this Field Spell is active, no card in the GY cannot move anywhere else, whether by cost or by effect.
Maxx "C" and Mulcharmy Fuwalos
Maxx "C" Mulcharmy Fuwalos An "Infernity" Deck is usually an all-in strategy, where the only way to play the Duel is to aggressively Summon as much as possible for a strong field. Maxx "C" and the more recent Mulcharmy Fuwalos can provide so much card advantage it can only go two ways for the Infernity player: either the player has to commit to the combos and deal with so many cards, or stop mid-way and end the turn with an incomplete, weak field.
Dark Ruler No More
Dark Ruler No More The activation of Dark Ruler No More cannot be responded to with monster effects, which this Deck might not be able to do unless certain cards are teched in to deal with it. Not being able to deal damage for the turn this card is activated is a fair trade to be able to deal with the end field with multple monster negates with ease.
