Should Yubel managed to go first in the Duel, its set up is far too strong and suffucient for an Infernoble Deck to deal with at the early game. For one, the Unchained Deck Engine is prominent in this Deck, and can use one of your Special Summoned monsters as material.
It gets harder once Nightmare Pain is active on the field, and the every dangerous Super Polymerization can be utilized to fuse away your own monsters, either into a Mudragon or a Yubel - The Loving Defender Forever.
A Deck that usually goes second, Tenpai Dragon Decks are often loaded with board breakers like Raigeki and Lightning Storm, and hand traps to interrupt plays like Ash Blossom and Infinite Impermanence.
It is highly recommended to go second against this specific Deck. However, if you lose the coin flip, set up the best board you can make through the hand traps before passing to the opponent.
Tenpai Dragon Deck List & Card Guide
Probably the worst match-up for Infernobles, Kaijus are filled with powerful monsters that tribute their own opponent's monster to be summoned oto the field. An Infernoble monster like Emperor Charles or Charles the Great having so many Equip Spells are priome targets for such monsters.
What makes it even harder is that other Decks could potentially make use of Kaijus and other Kaiju-like monsters, like Lava Golem and the Winged Dragon of Ra - Sphere Mode.
Evenly Matched | |
---|---|
While Evenly Matched can be negated from either a Baronne or a Emperor Charles the Great, the one thing this card has that those two boss monsters do not is a hard once-per-turn clause. The first one gets negated? Activate a second one right after! | |
Gameciel, the Sea Turtle Kaiju | |
The Kaijus can clear the boss monsters of this Deck very well, alongside have the Equip Cards attached to them in one fell swoop. This is alongside other similar cards, like Lava Golem and The Winged Dragon of Ra - Sphere Mode, though Gameciel is the most iconic due to its lower ATK compared to the rest of its archetype. | |
Maxx "C" | |
Be prepared to use whatever cards necessary to help safely resolve the effect of Maxx "C" against an Infernoble Deck. Their combos needs lots of Special Summons to get to their near-unbreakable board, but that will not matter if this one hand trap manages to get you lots of card advantage at your disposal. | |
Dimension Shifter | |
Part of this Deck's resouce is using the Graveyard to send Equip Spells and Cards to the GY as part of cost. Dimension Shifter throws a wrench to those plans, as for two turns any card sent to the GY is banished instead. Time it well, and lots of cards will end up banished instead. |
