Patch Notes
Wrath of the Tyrants Selection Pack Released After Maintenance
A brand-new Selection Pack called Wrath of the Tyrants has been announced to release on May 9, 2025!
Additional support for the Atlantean, HERO, and Fiendsmith archetypes are being added to the game, as well as the debut of Argostars in Master Duel!

The Ultimate Sparkle Selection Pack Removed from Shop
Once maintenance begins, the Selection Pack The Ultimate Sparkle will be removed from the in-game Shop to make way for an expected new Selection Pack! Take this chance to purchase cards from this Card Pack before it goes away!

Rooms and Match History Data Removal
As part of this system maintenance, the data from Duel Rooms and the player's Match History and Replay Data will be removed to improve the game's latency.
Version 2.3.0 Updates
The maintenance will also bring about a mandatory version change for Master Duel! All players will be required to update to Version 2.3.0 by the end of maintenance!
Duel-Related Updates
Adjusted Impact List to Display Icons
Cards that are now actively affecting the Duel via effects now have icons indicating their specific effects.
Adjusted Impact List to Highlight Cards
When a card is added to the Impact List in a Duel upon using an effect that affects the Duel, there will now be an animation where the Impact List will be.
Adjusted Visual Effects for Highlighted Cards
When selecting cards on the field for various reasons (I.E. to confirm a card effect), the cards will now glow with a yellow frame.
Match Screen UI
Titles will now randomly float up on your side of the Match Screen UI while in Duel matchmaking.
This will not be in effect for more competitive modes, like Rating Duels, the Duelist Cups' 2nd Stage, and the World Championship Regional Qualifiers.
Excavation Speed Animation
The effects of revealing cards through an Excavation effect (i.e. Pot of ) is sped up.
New Card Animations
The following cards have received special animations once their effects have successfully resolved:

Deck Editing-Related Updates
Undo Last Action
There is now a button right beside the naming area where players can click on to under their most recent action.
Clear Deck Contents
There is now a faster option to completely empty a Deck in the Deck Editing screen.
Auto-Build Update
Players can now choose to insert cards they have yet to own during Auto-Build. It can now also specify the number of cards the Deck will have, between 40 to 60 cards.
Apply Multiple Accessories as a Set
When applying accessories of the same set, a prompt will pop up to let players choose to equip similar accessories with the "Apply Set" button.
Apply set Decks' Accessories in Duel Menu
Players can now change a Deck's accessories in Ranked Duels, Event Duels, Duel Rooms and Casual Matches.
Solo Mode-Related Updates
Adjustments to Filter Menu/Sort
Locked has been removed as an option in the Filter Menu; instead, it is now possible to save two separate options: one for Stories, and another for Training & Challenges.

Duel Live UI
The Duel Live front page has been given a redesign! This should now make it easier for players to look at each player's Decks and POV in a Duel Replay.
Ranked Duels UI
The Ranked Duels front page has also been given a redesign in UI, showing a much clearer progress in rank as you climb the ladder.
