The Forbidden Liberated Selection Pack Released
A brand-new Selection Pack, The Forbidden Liberated, has been released on February 6, 2025! Ahead of the 3rd anniversary of Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel, three new archetypes are making their debut in the game: Millennium, Azamina, and Fiendsmith!

Heroes' Union Structure Deck Released
A new Structure Deck has been added to Master Duel, called Heroes' Union. This time, Elemental HEROES are the newest recepients of a Structure Deck, which can be purchased up to three times per account!

Duel-Related Version Updates
Card Frame Visual Effects
Should a Monster card be able to both attack or activate an effect during the Battle Phase, the card will now have a mix of blue and yellow light glowing on it.
Display Battle Phase Details
During the Battle Phase, players can now view detailed information like the Battle Step and Start of the Damage Step by pressing the "Show Duel Info" at the bottom right of the screen.
New Icons for Card Status
Some new icons were added to Master Duel for better visibility and clarification.
Deck Editing-Related Version Updates
Filter Menu Adjustment

New filter options have been added in the Deck Editing menu! These include filters for ATK and DEF for monsters, as well as Link Markers and Pendulum Scales!
AND/OR Options
A quality-of-life feature added is the opton for "AND" and "OR" as part of the filter, to be able to show results if they meet either any or all conditions set!
Bookmarks and Card History Tab
New tabs have been added for "Bookmarks" and "Card History" which is especially visible when using the Dismantle/Don't Dismantle option!
Individual Mates per Deck
Mates can now be individually assigned to a Deck, as opposed to the overall Mate used in your personal profile!
Shop-Related Version Updates
Setting Accessories After Purchase
After buying an accessory from the in-game menu, a prompt will now show afterwards to ask if the player would like to immediately use it!
Copying Structure Deck After Purchase
After buying a Structure Deck from the in-game menu, a prompt will show afterwards to ask if the player would like to copy the Deck Recipe
Solo Mode-Related Version Update
The Solo Mode section now has an updated front menu, which makes the game mode a lot easier to navigate! There are now two categories of Solo Modes: Stories and Training & Challenges!
Quality of Life Version Updates
Random Wallpaper Cycle
Players can now set up to five different Wallpapers to use! Once set, the selected wallpapers will automatically cycle in the Main Menu!
Duel Button Fade-Out
The Duel Shortcut at the lower right corner of the menu will automatically disappear after a set time of inactivity while in the Main Menu, allowing the set Wallpaper to be displayed without any hindrances. Any input will restore the shortcut!
Following Opponents After a Duel
After a Duel, regardless of result, players can now follow the opponents at the results screen! Just click on the handshake icon to Follow the Duelist!
