Geese Makes His Nightmarish Return

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is set to receive a major DLC update on February 26, introducing Nightmare Geese as a playable fighter alongside a slate of crossover content inspired by Capcom’s iconic Street Fighter franchise.
Nightmare Geese joins the roster as the second DLC character included in Season Pass 2, continuing the game’s post-launch expansion plans. In a trailer uploaded to the SNK Official YouTube channel, he is shown executing powerful combos and punishing opponents through well-timed parries and sabakis (counter techniques that deflect or absorb specific attacks).

He’s also shown to have his iconic special moves, such as the Repukken and the Jaia’Ken, command throws like his Shippu Nage ground throw, and his Raging Storm and Deadly Rave super moves.
Although Nightmare Geese is depicted as a hallucinatory or ghostly version of the iconic antagonist, his inclusion further strengthens the roster’s lineup of legacy characters, which already features staples like Joe Higashi and Mai Shiranui. His arrival also mirrors a broader trend of major fighting game villains returning as DLC, with examples like Heihachi in Tekken 8 and M. Bison in Street Fighter 6.
Following Nightmare Geese, four additional DLC fighters remain, scheduled to release monthly through June 2026 as part of the ongoing Season Pass 2 rollout.
Street Fighter Crossover Missions and Boss Fight
The February 26 update also introduces crossover content inspired by Street Fighter.
A new "Episodes of South Town" (EOST) mission will see characters teaming up with members of the Street Fighter cast to rescue Terry from JP, weaving the crossover directly into the game’s storymode. Players will face Street Fighter 6-inspired enemies, including Buggz, a cardboard-masked gang member, and the "Refrigerator," an advanced fridge model immune to frontal attacks that can only be damaged when its doors open — usually just before it throws food.
The update also adds new crossover skills that blend mechanics and flair from both franchises, such as the Drive Impact to interrupt enemies and open them up for a counterattack, and the Drive Rush to extend combos.

Kage Terry, a darker "shadow" version of Terry similar to Evil Ryu or Violent Ken from Ultra Street Fighter II, will appear as a boss encounter within the story. He is shown wielding Akuma’s Raging Demon, though he will not be available as a playable fighter.
The DLC further includes new costume options for Rock and Preecha. Rock will receive a costume inspired by Luke, while Preecha will get one modeled after Juri.
