The Theme Chronicle event is the newest event in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel, where the archetypes featured in the game’s Solo Mode Gates are celebrated! Read to learn about the event, decks, banned cards, rewards and more!

Theme Chronicle Event Information

The Theme Chronicle event will start on January 18 until January 31. Furthermore, you can claim your rewards until the day after the event, February 1.
Note: You can only claim your reward during the start of the event until the last day of award-claiming mentioned above. So keep an eye on the date and claim your rewards!
Theme Chronicle Event Rules
During the Theme Chronicle event, the cards allowed are from archetypes featured Master Duel’s various Solo Mode Gates! This means most of the meta-defining cards and Decks are most likely Banned in this game mode.
Furthermore, there will be a different card pool to choose from compared to the standard one that is used in regular Ranked Duels.
Deck Creation Available
As the event was announced on January 14, players can immediately begin creating their Decks for the Theme Chronicle event. Theorycraft your Deck as much as you like before the event begins!
Theme Chronicle Event Missions
As of writing, there are currently 4 Event-exclusive missions for players to complete. Each milestone rewards the player with Gems.

Theme Chronicle Event Rewards
Medals are rewarded by just playing matches during the Theme Chronicle event regardless of Duel result, however players will not be rewarded if you surrender, so make sure to play each Duel through!
