Playstyle and Win Condition

Salamangreat is an archetype composed of Fire Attribute Cyberse Type Monsters, mainly focusing on Link Summon. Salamangreat is mainly known for their unique Summoning Method called Reincarnation Link Summon, which can be used by using Salamangreat Sanctuary's effect. Salamangreat Link Monsters will unlock their full potential when Summoned this way.

The main combo starters of the Deck. Salamangreat Gazelle and Salamangreat Spinny can easily set up the board on their own.

These 3 are your core Extra Deck Monsters as they let you easily fetch key cards from deck as well as Link Climb. Salamangreat Balelynx in particular is essential to get out

Foxy, Jack Jaguar, and Falco are your combo targets, and commonly Summoned by Salamangreat Miragestallio's effect.

Salamangreat boasts its hyper-consistency due to its multiple searchers. If one gets stopped, the Deck has other options available, betwen Cynet Mining and Salamangreat Circle, and Lady Debug as a monster card searcher.

The newer additions to the Deck serve as combo extenders. Salamangreat Weasel is an easy Special Summon from the GY that provides more Special Summons, while Salamangreat of Fire is a searcher that doubles as a way to trigger the Salamangreat Phoenix boss monsters.

So long as you have a Link monster, you can Special Summon Code of Soul from the hand, and it acts as a pseudo- Salamangreat Sanctuary once per turn while on the field.

Core Combos and Interaction

1-Card Gazelle Combo

This is a very simple 1-Card Combo when you open with only Gazelle and no other extenders.

1	Normal Summon Salamangreat Gazelle. Activate its effect to send Salamangreat Roar from the Deck to the Graveyard.
2	Link Summon Salamangreat Balelynx using Salamangreat Gazelle as material. Activate its effect to add Salamangreat Sanctuary from the Deck to hand then Activate it.
3	Link Summon Salamangreat Balelynx using Salamangreat Balelynx as material. Activate Salamangreat Roar from Graveyard to Set it.

Your End Board will look like this:
A very simple board with 1 negate from Salamangreat Roar and 1 protection from Salamangreat Balelynx in the Graveyard.

2-Card Gazelle Combo

This combo is an extension to the first combo with some modifications thanks to extenders.

1	Normal Summon Salamangreat Spinny. Then Link Summon Salamangreat Balelynx using Salamangreat Spinny as material. Activate its effect to add Salamangreat Sanctuary from the Deck to hand. Chain Salamangreat Gazelle from hand.
2	Activate Salamangreat Gazelle''s on Summon Effect to send Salamangreat Roar from the Deck to the Graveyard. Activate Salamangreat Sanctuary.
3	Activate Salamangreat Spinny's Graveyard Effect to Special Summon itself.
4	Overlay Salamangreat Spinny and Salamangreat Gazelle to XYZ Summon Salamangreat Miragestallio. Activate Miragestallio's Effect by detaching Gazelle to Special Summon Salamangreat Jack Jaguar from the Deck.
5	Link Summon Salamangreat Sunlight Wolf using Salamangreat Balelnyx and Salamangreat Jack Jaguar as materials. Then with Salamangreat Sanctuary's effect, Link Summon another Salamangreat Sunlight Wolf using Salamangreat Sunlight Wolf as material.
6	Activate Salamangreat Sunlight Wolf's Effect to add Salamangreat Roar from Graveyard to hand.
7	Activate Salamangreat jack Jaguar's Graveyard Effect to Special Summon itself directly below Sunlight Wolf by returning Sunlight Wolf from Graveyard back to the Extra Deck.
8	Activate Salamangreat Sunlight Wolf's Effect to add Salamangreat Gazelle from Graveyard to hand.

Your End Board will look like this:
Similar to the first combo, this board has 1 negate from Salamangreat Roar and 1 protection from Salamangreat Balelynx in the Graveyard.
The only difference is, this has more monsters on the field and a Gazelle ready on hand in preparation for the next turn's combo.

Alternative Options

Mathmech Engine

Mathmechs are Cyberse-type Monsters so they merge well with Salamangreat. They can also easily swarm the field making it easier to Summon multiple Monsters from the Extra Deck.

	Salamangreat Balelynx's role is to search Salamangreat Sanctuary as well as protect your field with its Graveyard effect.
	Salamangreat Sunlight Wolf
	Salamangreat Sunlight Wolf's role is to recycle your resources by returning them back to the hand. This also lets you recycle Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring.
	Accesscode Talker
	Helps you wiping your opponent's board as well as setup strong and quick OTK when going second thanks to its high Attack stat.
	Decode Talker Heatsoul
	Alternative Boss Monster if things went south mid-combo. Helps you cycle your hand by drawing once per turn. Also has a decent Attack stat.

Best Cards to Tech Against Salamangreat

	Dimension Shifter
	With heavy reliance on the Graveyard, removing access to it will stop the combo of Salamangreat.
	If the search for Sanctuary gets negated, Salamangreat will have a hard time performing most of their Reincarnation Link Summon.
	Infinite Impermanence
	Negating any Monster that searches from the Deck like Balelynx, Miragestallio, or Lady Debug weill greatly slow down the pacing of the Deck.
	Gameciel, the Sea Turtle Kaiju
	Any Kaiju-like effect can shutdown Salamangreat's strong board since Salamangreat Roar requires you to have a Salamangreat Link Monster for it to activate.
