How to Farm Abstruse Sigils

Salvaged Legendary Jewelry to Get Abstruse Sigils

Diablo 4 - Blacksmith Salvage

You can obtain Abstruse Sigils by salvaging legendary jewelry that have at least 400 Item Power at the Blacksmith of any town or city. Legendary equipment have low drop rates, so only salvage Legendary jewelry pieces that you can afford to lose.

Note that Legendary jewelry with under 400 Item Power will never yield Abstruse Sigils, while Legendary jewelry with over 400 Item Power will always yield Abstruse Sigils, so remember this when deciding what to do with your unwanted Legendaries.

Abstruse Sigils start dropping from Elite Monsters and Event chests once you hit World Tier 3.

Diablo 4 - How to Upgrade Weapons and Armor

You can use Abstruse Sigils to upgrade legendary jewelry at the Blacksmith. Note that Legendary jewelry with under 400 Item Power can be fully upgraded with only Rare or lower rarity mats.

How to Upgrade Equipment

Used to Imprint Legendary Aspects

Abstruse Sigils are also required to imprint Extracted Legendary Aspects onto jewelry with at least 400 Item Power. Similar to upgrading, Legendary jewelry with under 400 Item Power can be imprinted with Legendary Aspects in exchange for only Rare or lower rarity mats.
