Slay the Possessed Enemy Survive the Ritual Kill the Devourer of Souls

Slay the Possessed Enemy

To start Insatiable Hunger, kill the possessed enemy slowly approaching the Devourer of Souls. Note that there may be other enemies surrounding the Devourer of Souls, so take them out to prevent them from getting in the way of the event.

Survive the Ritual

After slaying the possessed enemy, waves of demons will begin spawning around the area, with a 90-second timer beginning to tick down. Continue killing possessed enemies as they appear, and defend yourself until the timer runs out to successfully survive the ritual.

Complete Any Mastery Objectives

Insatiable Hunger's Mastery objective involves surviving the ritual while preventing three enemies from sacrificing themselves to the Devourer of Souls. We highly recommend completing this objective, as it improves the rewards you obtain at the end of the World Event.

Kill the Devourer of Souls

Once the ritual ends, the Devourer of Souls will leave its protective shield. Kill the Devourer of Souls and slay any remaining enemies to complete the Insatiable Hunger event.

Insatiable Hunger Completion Rewards

Murmuring Obols, Gold, and Other Items

In addition to the random drops from each enemy you kill, completing Insatiable Hunger rewards you with a respectable amount of Gold and Experience based on your current level. You also get guaranteed Murmuring Obols from the Radiant Chest.

Furthermore, the Radiant Chest (or Greater Radiant Chest from completing the Mastery objective) can also drop Gems, Upgrade Materials, and equipment of random rarities.
