How to Complete Ancient Obelisk

Inspect the Ancient Obelisk Stand on the Pressure Plates Slay Any Remaining Enemies

Inspect the Ancient Obelisk

To start Ancient Obelisk, interact with the nearby obelisk surrounded by runes. There may be a few enemies near the obelisk, so make sure to take them out before starting the event.

Stand on the Pressure Plates

Once you've interacted with the obelisk, four pressure plates will spawn around the area, with a 100-second timer beginning to tick down. Stand on these pressure plates while defending yourself from the incoming waves of demons to successfully satiate the obelisk.

Note that you'll have to stand on one pressure plate at a time to fully satiate it before moving to the next pressure plate.

Complete Any Mastery Objectives

Ancient Obelisk's Mastery objective involves satiating all four pressure plates before time runs out. We highly recommend completing this objective, as it improves the rewards you obtain at the end of the World Event.

Slay Any Remaining Enemies

After satiating all plates, clear out any remaining enemies in the area to successfully complete the Ancient Obelisk event.

Ancient Obelisk Completion Rewards

Murmuring Obols, Gold, and Other Items

In addition to the random drops from each enemy you kill, completing Ancient Obelisk rewards you with a respectable amount of Gold and Experience based on your current level. You also get guaranteed Murmuring Obols from the Radiant Chest.

Furthermore, the Radiant Chest (or Greater Radiant Chest from completing the Mastery objective) can also drop Gems, Upgrade Materials, and equipment of random rarities.
