Quest Objectives
- Read the Message from the Unknown Sender

1. Read the Message from the Unknown Sender
About 24 hours after completing the previous quest, you will receive a text from an unregistered contact, saying that you'll have to meet with a netrunner and hand over the Behavioral System Component that you got from the Cerberus in Somewhat Damaged.
| Note: This quest needs both the Behavioral System Component and one of the Iconic crafting specs from the Cynosure lab. Without both items, this quest won't be triggered. |
2. Meet with the Netrunner
Fast travel to Kabuki Market and head inside the quickhack shop. Talk to Yoko and hand over the component.
Wait for Yoko to finish working to receive the decrypted component—something she will also warn you about.
3. Craft Erebus or Militech Canto Mk.6
Since there's only one decrypted component, you can only craft one of the Blackwall Iconics (if you picked up their crafting specs during Somewhat Damaged):
- Erebus - a Power Submachine Gun with rounds infused with dark energy. Each shot has a chance to upload a quickhack that disables the target's cyberware.
- Militech Canto Mk.6 - comes with the Blackwall Gateway quickhack that cause lethal damage to its target and can spread multiple times.
Craft either item and the quest will be completed.
Should You Craft Erebus or Militech Canto Mk.6?
Erebus is Better Overall
Both are neat Iconics to have but since you can only choose one, we recommend choosing Erebus, especially if you're not using a Netrunner build. Other than being usable in most builds, the quickhack it can upload staggers enemies and gets more powerful the less health the targets have.
The Blackwall Gateway quickhack might sound awesome, but it can be easily outperformed by other quickhacks like Short Circuit and Contagion, due to its slow upload time and high traceability.
The Militech Canto Mk.6 cyberdeck itself only has five quickhack slots (including the built-in Blackwall Gateway) and no bonus effects like most cyberdecks have.
