The Sun Ending for Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the five endings available in the game. Read on to learn which choices to make to get this ending, the ending explanation, and the rewards.

Complete Rogue's Questline
To make the dialogue choice of asking for Panam help appear during the conversation with Johnny at the latter part of Nocturne OP55N1, you must complete her corresponding side quests.

To get the Sun Ending and Trophy you need to let V stay in their body when Alt asks you, then enter the well once the conversation is over. (Do not cross the bridge)

The Sun Ending Explanation
Becoming a Night City Legend
The Sun Ending is neither a good nor bad ending. The reason for this is because both V and Johnny will continue on with their individual lives.
V will live what's left of his life as a Night City Legend, while Johnny will continue on the rebel path, destroying Mikoshi.
It's not bad chasing one's dream of becoming a legend, but it's not good either.
As the world of Cyberpunk 2077 thrives in all sorts of corruption, normal people seek to escape their helplessness in Night City, either by making a name for themselves, or actually leaving the city.
Becoming a Night City legend just puts V above the other people who are suffering, but it does not mean he has actually escaped his chance of suffering in Night City.
Consequences
Deaths Depending on Who You Asked For Help
In a room before you reach Mikoshi, Adam Smasher ambushes you, leading to the death of either Rogue or Saul depending on who you asked help from.
If Rogue dies during this ending path, V becomes the new boss of the afterlife.
If you also unlocked the Secret Ending, neither Rogue nor Saul dies.
Reaction From V's Friends
During the roll credits, there are calls from V's friends and depending on which ending path the player chose their reactions vary.
For The Sun Ending, most of V's friends merely tell them to take care of themselves. But Viktor and Misty's calls are different.
Both Viktor and Misty's call implies that V has now become a Night City Legend, and the world will hear about him soon enough.
The Sun Ending Rewards
Get the Trophy by Completing Rogue's Questline and V Stays in His Body

If you asked for Rogue's help and you play as Johnny, cross the bridge (Do not enter the well).

・After clearing the main story, you will receive a pair of legendary Gorilla Arms for free. Simply go to the nearest Ripperdoc and look at the Arms slot to equip them. |
Once you complete the game, no matter which difficulty or ending path you chose, you will always be rewarded with a free Gorilla Arms cyberware.

I'm confused, why am I asking Panam for help instead of Rogue. (Ignore instructions choose Rogue) Who shouldn't cross the bridge, V, or Johnny, while I'm playing as Johnny controlling V? (ignored instructions again) cross the bridge as Johnny while V tries to stop Jonny. Play epilogue till end, Bam Achievement get, The Sun
