More than a year after the release of Cyberpunk 2077, the game has finally been revived from the backlash it has received since its launch. Read on to learn more about Cyberpunk 2077's most controversial glitches, its latest bugs, and their fixes.
With the release of Patches 1.5 and 1.6, you'll be pleased to know that there are no longer game breaking bugs for Cyberpunk 2077. Although like most games, it's not entirely devoid of mistakes, so keep an eye out for minor bugs.

A bug has occurred for some players which prevents them from proceeding past the “Talk to Viktor” Objective. When talked to, players find themselves only able to ask “How's Biz?”.
Although we were not able to confirm this bug ourselves, players have reported being able to resolve the issue by saving and reloading the game. Be sure to try this first when you encounter this problem!
The Ripperdoc Quest Walkthrough
In the escape section of The Heist, the Leader of the Arasaka Guards will normally emerge from an elevator and attack the player. However, this bug will cause him to instead clip crazily through the walls and put up no resistance against the player.
Although this may seem advantageous, it may actually cause the defeated Leader to fall through the floor, making it impossible to receive his Access Chip and forcing the player to revert to a previous save.
Even in the following elevator scene with Jackie, the slain Leader's corpse may continue to occasionally fall through the ceiling into the floor.
One of the most common bugs in Cyberpunk 2077 is characters' mouths not moving. During in-game dialouge or even cutscenes, you are likely to see at least one character who is talking without moving their face. In the beginning of the game, this can often be seen with Jackie, since he is frequently speaking with V.
You may come across some NPCs that are locked in a T-pose. They will still be able to interact with you, but getting them to stop posing can be quite difficult.
During your playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077, you may notice many strange occurances with in-game textures. During our playthrough, some examples included V's knuckles being see-through, NPC models freezing, and characters appearing out of nowhere.
During some scenes in Cyberpunk 2077, you may have noticed weird moments when some characters have their gun clipped to some parts of their body. This ruins the immersion and emotional weight of some scenes.
As of patch 1.6, there are still cases of the Gun Clipping glitch although it shows up very rarely.
Perhaps one of the funniest glitches in the game, the Flying Car glitch was notorious specially during Cyberpunk 2077's launch. This includes the player's car, whether they're inside or not.
If you have played Cyberpunk 2077 during launch, you may have noticed cars driving through barriers, and only going in circles when in roundabouts. So watch out whenever you're walking on the pavements.

A number of players have encountered bug during The Beast in Me: Badlands side quest. It's where the player finishes first but the game recognizes Luigi Antonowicz as the winner of the race.
As of patch 1.6, this bug still happens often and there is no fix out yet. But you can avoid this bug by ignoring Luigi, doing so makes the game recognize V and Claire as the winners of the race.
Some players in PC may have noticed map glitches in their game. This is caused by NVIDIA's latest game ready driver update 522.25 last October 12, 2022.
Check out NVIDIA's Fix for this problem if you do not wish to roll back your driver.
If NVIDIA's fix is too complicated for you, you can try rolling back your driver by going to Device Manager > Display Adapters > Double click on your GPU > Drivers > Roll Back Driver.
After The Heist mission, you will awake as Johnny Silverhand. While playing as him, you will make your way to a helicopter and fly towards a tower. Your objective will be to take out the enemies on the roof, but the combat turrents will be invincible. If you experience this bug, you will be unable to move forward with the main story line.
You will also appear to not take any damage, making you stuck in the helicopter. It will continue to circle the roof until you take out all enemies, which is impossible. The bullet fire will appear to pass through the enemy turrets.
Based on our investigations after upgrading to Patch 1.05, this bug has been resolved!
Love Like Fire Quest Walkthrough
During Down on the Street, Takemura calls you but doesn't say anything. This could possibly hinder the player's progress in the main story as V is required to respond to Takemura's call.

Down on the Street Walkthrough and Rewards
At the end of the The Pickup, when you exit the building, you'll find that corpos surrounding the building. If Jackie is not outside with you and remains in the building, one of the corpos will block your way from accessing him, rendering the Talk to Jackie objective undoable.
A possible way to circumvent this is by not rushing out to talk to whoever is outside, waiting for Jackie to follow you. If he's in the doorway and is stuck there, it's possible to talk to him at a certain angle.

Corpo background “The Rescue” there’s no option to “Hack The Door” and I’ve deleted previous saved data, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, checked for updates, I have the current 1.11 update for PS4. I don’t know what else to do. So far only allows StreetKid and Nomad Backgrounds to play through the story.
I get the, my whole body glitches to the point it causes a spastic strobe of jagged lines and white noise. Fun stuff. Hurts my damn eyes.
If I fail or cancel out of an access point, the mini-game will not load up, you'll just get the jack in/Jack out animations but the mini-game will no longer appear.
In the Never Fade Away quest, I’ve got this crappy glitch where rouge keeps saying “Pick it up” for the rest of the game, even after the flash back is over. I can’t get rid of it no matter how far back I go to reload my save. Help please

Happened the same, I had to restart the mission or load the last checkpoint before going in the ring with her.
When I shot I take off minimal single digits damage (being level 8) and I get one shot kill, I've scanned and some that are one shot killing me are zero star cons and I've armor of around 135
Likewise, can't use gun or fist during the mission for saul.
I cannot get through the door after you kill the boss in the First Mission - The Rescue
Can't talk to the Animals champion for beat the brat quest. She just stands in the ring with no dialog option.
I don't have access to weapons and I can't shoot or punch. Was doing this "Riders on the storm" with Panam but now I can't keep on anymore. Tried to load it again also from earlier savings but it didn't work.
"Dream On" mission glitch. Once I "followed the cables" I killed everyone in the area. It marked the "neutralize the attackers" task list but left the "follow the cables" task unchecked. I know the next step should be jacking into the van but it won't allow me to do that so the mission is left unfinished which isn't allowing me to start another mission. Start from an auto save just before you say, it used all of my auto saves after the attack commenced. Last manual save...3 hours before.
On goodbye night city gig. Dakota will call for mission. And wont call when completed, whether you kill everyone or go in silent and don't get caught. Guys will just drive off at the end and the quest will stay at the end, then Dakota wont call on any other gig from then on. Can complete anything in badlands. Not even Saul call I've waited for. Skipped multiple days and tried going gig without the call and nothing happens. Had to reload a save from before I told Saul about panam.
In ghost town after meeting up with Mitch and Scorpion it won’t let me talk to them to continue the mission. Have tried leaving and coming back skipping time... doing other missions nothing has worked any ideas?
The bullet mission won't show up on the map. Also had people falling from the sky, cars are still in the air. had 5 crashes so far on the new patch
Extremely distracting mottled grain and poor resolution on more-or-less every surface, at any distance except in your face (especially onroads/floors/pavement). This is especially bad whilst driving in day light. Xb1 S (all graphics 'enhancements' turn off)
Random damage ramp in enemies/damage reduction for the player. Randomly, I would be one shot by low level enemies while only dishing out double digits. A save roll back and reload fixed the issue, but randomly I would fall into same situation leading to all damage becoming one shot kill, even with 400+ HP and a bunch of armor.
During Big in Japan, even with the proper perk (draw and use weapons while carrying a body), V wasn't able to pull their gun out without the lengthy 'lie the body down' animation first. Tested this same thing out while carrying Evelyn later in the story and the perk worked even though the scene had me walk a few feet and end the scene. Might be a one off glitch, but still annoying.
Can’t leave Viktor’s clinic in Nocturne OP55N1. Gate is closed and won’t open; Misty talks from the other side then goes upstairs. Reloaded a previous save and Viktor’s gate is also closed and locked from the outside - can’t see my Ripperdoc, can’t finish my game.

Anything with River is majorly bugged. Kids are stuck staring at a wall, little to no dialogue with River after romance, cannot store anything or sleep at the new safe house.

When I disassemble something where I have to choose 2 or more, the menu at the bottom right goes away that tells you which buttons to press, so you don't know if it can be disassembled or not. Same thing when selling multiples. Ps4 slim 1T. Sometimes my guy shoots forward really fast. Tried picking a gun up and it glitched so when I looked at my feet, I could see a gun and maybe two arms reaching up my legs and made it very hard to pick other things up while it was there.
Stuck in 1st person mode in vehicles.
Update 1.10 didn't fix crashing issue & now the game just freezes for no reason. I notice it more when quick hacking.
Getting splotches and phantom trees and countryside images while out in the Badlands or other areas. Also occurs sporadically in any indoors... these ghost images come and go... started from day 1...
On xbox one. After fighting with rancho coronado i get stuck in some parts of the Arena.
wilson left the gun shop and is waiting outside of the shop. Now I cannot finish the gun quest by buying my gun from him. this is my last quest before 100% completion. How do I buy the gun?????
