This was an impromptu Banlist Update that happened in late June 2025. These Forbidden Cards are now playable in proper formats for the first time in Master Duel, and are now craftable as well!

The next monthly Banlist Update takes effect on July 4, 2025. Only a few cards have had their playability changed!

New Selection Pack Released: Struggle in Wonderland
A new Selection Pack has been released after maintenance on July 4, 2025. This Selection Pack adds support cards to archetypes like Battlewasp and Tenyi.
For players who are also familiar with the TCG and OCG formats, the Maliss archetype will also makes its debut to Master Duel!

Gate to the Throne was a Selection Pack that was released in Late May 2025, as part of the 2025 World Championship Qualifier campaigns.
This Card Pack features some of the strongest cards from various archetypes. These include Horus, Bystial, Tearlaments and Rescue-ACE. Additional support cards are also added, which includes Mulcharmy Fuwalos, Herald of Orange Light, Book of Moon, the Bystial Dragons and more!

Wrath of the Tyrants was a Selection Pack that was released in May 2025.
This Selection Pack added cards to the Atlantean and Evil HERO archetypes for further support, and the rest of the cards that make up the Fiendsmith Engine. This Card Pack also marked the debut of the Argostars archetype in Master Duel!

Unannounced from the in-game announcements, a new card has been added to the Legacy Pack pool! Players can now get this card, either by pulling from the Legacy Pack or by crafting the aforementioned card!
