Duelist Cup Announced for September 2024

It has been announced that a new Duelist Cup will take place this September! Ranked Season 32 currently active will be the basis for starting DLvs. when the event begins next month!

Version 2.0 Update

Nibiru Counter

If you have Nibiru, the Primal Being on hand, a counter will appear on it as the opponent conducts a Normal Summon or a Special Summon. This is to allow better tracking of when its effect can trigger.

New Animations

Certain cards will have brand-new animations should they be summoned, or should they activate their respective effects.

Deck Card Counter

Should a Deck in a Duel reach 10 or fewer cards left, a counter will show the number of remaining cards left in said Deck.

Pop-Up for Gained Effects from Link and Synchro Materials

If there is an effect inherited by Link and Synchro Monsters due to their materials granting them those upon being used, a pop-up message will show at the top-right of the screen.

Cancel Button for Effects

For some effects that have an optional card activation, there is now a cancel button once the prompt to select an effect to activate is displayed.

Double Click Function

Double Clicking or Double Tapping also now confirms choices when it comes to making selections in pop-up messages (like effect activation), or cards on the field selected from a Card List in certain situations.

Card Generation

Players can now Generate more than 4 cards, up to a cap of 99 cards if there are enough resources to do so.

Duel Live Improvements

Players can now switch perspective between both players when watching a Duel Live replay. Decks can also now be copied from Duel Live players watched!

New Selection Pack: Wings of the Guardian

A new Selection Pack was added to Master Duel on August 8, 2024. Wings of the Guardian is the last Selection Pack to be released before the 2024 World Championship Finals in September, and this means the debuting Voiceless Voice archetype will be available for participating players!

Expected as part of a monthly update, another banlist update has take effect on August 8, 2024. A total of 7 cards have had their playability in proper Duels updated!
