February 14 2023 Server Maintenance, Patch Notes and Version Update

The next maintenance for Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel will be on February 14, 2023, and will include a Version Update to celebrate the game's first anniversary! Read to see the patch notes, schedule, time, and server status.

Patch Note and Changes

The new Version 1.4.1 will be a mandatory update. Countdowns for Secret Packs will still continue during system maintenance. The maintenance schedule might finish earlier or later than the expected time.

A new Selection Pack has been released, adding support for the "Elemental HERO" and "Morphtronic" archetypes, as well as the debut of "Sprights" to Master Duel!

New Selection Pack: New Steps for Duelists

A second new Selection Pack has been released, celebrating the first anniversary of Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel! It features some of the most iconic cards in the franchise's history, and cards used by memorable characters in the show and manga!

Ancient Fairy Dragon Errata

With Ancient Fairy Dragon being removed from the banlist, its card text is also being given an errata, changing the conditions of its effect!

1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters Once per turn: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower monster from your hand. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase the turn you activate this effect. Once per turn: You can destroy as many Field Spells on the field as possible, and if you do, gain 1000 LP, then you can add 1 Field Spell from your Deck to your hand.

You can only use each effect of "Ancient Fairy Dragon" once per turn.

Simplified Chinese Language Added To Steam

A new language option has been added to Master Duel's settings in the Steam version of the game, adding Simplified Chinese among the list of choices!

Other platforms will receive this update in an unspecified future date.

Rooms and Match History Data Removal

As part of this system maintenance, the data from Duel Rooms and the player's Match History and Replay Data will be removed to improve the game's latency.
