Can I substitute Upstart Goblin with Maxx C? Would it be as effective in competitive play?

can't sp nyan nyan with lulu eff if lulu sent it to activate its effect...

True King of All Calamities can bring instant win against most monster based decks when played on turn 1, so the card must be included in list. We can easily summon calamity and another rank 9 xyz (I like Phantom Fortress Enterblathnir for I can know the concept of opponent deck and decide which attribute to declare, by making them banish their hand) by Cloudcastle via Shenshen, from opening hand with two virtual world card.

>>3 Hi Newbie, We didn't include True King of All Calamities since it needs 2x Lvl 9 monsters to summon which may take a lot of time and resources to set up (summoning both Ravenous Crocodragon Archethys and Virtual World Kyubi - Shenshen, or having a Virtual World Gate - Chuche in the GY and using it to increase the level of a Lvl 6 Monster to Lvl 9 and another Lvl 9 Monster). But, you can definitely play it if you want. Let us know if you're able to! We'd love to hear about it.

Why not using true king calamity?
